Sigh....almost 2 years after my back surgery the same thing (pain and numbness) now starting down the right leg.

I'm oretty much convinced that back surgery is a get rich scheme and provides zero benefit to the patient. I don't know anyone that had back surgery that got better.

My dad had back surgery. Went from not being able to walk to fully ambulatory

I wasn't badmouthing it. It's fine. But if I want pepperoni pizza, I am ordering it from a pizza place or even making a frozen one. No point in making a homemade one.
