3.1 GPA and Dean's List 50% of my time there. (4 years...none of this 5 years+ crap) :bowtie: Also dropped 400 hits of acid, huffed airbrush prolellent, smoked anything but tool, was so beloved at a liquor store that they gave me a bottle of champagne when I told them I was moving, had a steady stream of snatch, was VP of my frat 3 years in a row and fell down a flight of stairs when I drunkenly mistook the door for the staircase for the door to the bathroom. Let's not forget a little car jacking incidnet that left me concussed and broken skulled. It's amazing I can still tie my shoes let alone spell adroitly.

I had somebody e-mail me that they wanted to 1.2 cf boxes. I asked the dimensions. The reply was "I thought the 1.2cf was obvious". :mellow: I replied back (while I was walking which has has been rare this summer and I really need to lose all of this fat I'm accumulating so this was particularly irritating ) that 1.2cf is the volume, it could be all kinds of sizes. No reply back. :mellow:

Quick and probably stupid question:

My work buddy Vipul moved to CT. We used to play Texas Hold'em every day after the markets closed. If the two of us want to play online, what's the best site to use for this? Is there an option to just have the two of us play a private game?

You can set up a private home game club on Stars. But I don't think you can use a mobile device.

 
Guys, I usually don't get into the political stuff around here, but how absolutely frightening would a Trump vs. Hillary scenario be?

the WSOP app you can play mobile and have "friends" and play on the same tables. no private feature, but there is in-game chat

GM you can also play with the guys in the poker thread if you get the itch. They usually set up some small tourneys and play for real money ($25 is standard I think) and settle via schmay-schmal

I played awhile back and it was fun but don't really get the time to play much (translation: my wife doesn't let me play)

I don't think the majority of people in either party are really thrilled with their options right now. Demographically speaking, the country is tilting more towards the Democrats, but Clinton seems like she has the ability to blow it.

Regardless of how you feel about Obama, the guy ran two really strong campaigns. Billy was good, too.

Los Angeles (AFP) - The US Coast Guard said it has seized $181 million worth of cocaine from a submarine-like vessel in the eastern Pacific Ocean, but even more drugs sank during the bust.

The Coast Guard seized 12,000 pounds (5,400 kilograms) of cocaine from four smugglers on a semi-submersible ship, the agency said Wednesday.

The vessel, which was first spotted about 200 miles (320 kilometers) south of Mexico, was carrying a total of 16,000 pounds of narcotics, but as the ship was being towed, it took on water and sank. Some 4,000 pounds of narcotics were lost in the process.

The seizure, which took place on July 18, was the "largest recorded semi-submersible interdiction in Coast Guard history," according to the agency.

The 40-foot (12-meter) vessel was deemed "unrecoverable" after it sank.

The Coast Guard said there have been 25 known interdictions of semi-submersible vessels in the eastern Pacific Ocean since November 2006.

"Every interception of these semi-submersibles disrupts transnational organized crime networks and helps increase security and stability in the Western Hemisphere," Vice Admiral Charles W. Ray, commander of the Pacific area, said in a statement.

Semi-submersible ships are designed for drug trafficking, and because they are mostly submerged -- often with only a cockpit and exhaust pipe visible above water -- they are particularly difficult to detect and interdict, the Coast Guard said.
