UPDATE: got another one. No cinnamon because yes I like fireball but I only drink it premixed I don't dilute my bourbon like some kind of animal.

If anyone else has good musical taste: Ryan Adams recorded an entire version of Taylor Swift's "1989". It's on spotify and it is unbelievably good.

I've always thought Ryan Adams was way too self important. This either confirms or blows that theory.

Have a whole day tomorrow with a guy we brought in from Denver to help our company PowerPoint presentations not suck. Who knew a person could make a living doing presentations on presentations?

Xzibit?

Seriously, if there's a market for telling people to not use transitions, not use "vs" anywhere in a graph title, and not stand in front of the freakin screen, then maybe my dream job of getting paid to approve baby names at the hospital is within reach.

My dad had a blister on his foot that was pretty bad. So he went to the doctor to get it looked at and it turns out it got really infected and on top of that he had somehow broken his big toe. They had to do an emergency surgery tonight to repair the bone and clean out the infection that ended up being so bad it got into the bone. They're doing a biopsy on one of the bone chips and depending on how it looks they may have to amputate his big toe and possibly (though very unlikely) his right foot.

No TPWs needed, just kinda venting. He's 74 and loves taking walks and golfing. Can't imagine what this would do to his psyche if he's gotta give that up. Not to mention the quasi guilt I have since he got the blister when I took him to the PGA Championship a few weeks ago. Damn you Whistling Straits and your beautiful, nearly impassable terrain.
