Seems like moving to Canada should be punishment enough, but I get that some of you are gaga for cats.

Do they know you're aware of what's going on with them and the cats or are you just getting all of this second-hand? 'Cause if they don't know you're aware, it seems like the best thing you could do is call them directly, be insanely nice to them, tell them you of all people know how difficult moving can be, and ask how they're doing with it. But, more importantly, how are plans coming to relocate their beloved cats you went out of your way to help them obtain? Make them tell you on the phone and use your own experiences in relocation to completely dismiss and belittle where possible their pathetic excuses.

Both totally legit ideas.

The first is harder as I have no direct contact. I'm getting this through my stepmother. Apparently she has been trying for a little while to help them, but got desperate today--because oh did I mention they are leaving the country Thursday?--and posted on Facebook to see if she could find a home for them. That's when I saw it. Now she's just sorry she posted because I saw it, nevermind sorry that she has pathetic, vile, subhuman friends.

I've offered to take them in if they can get them here. I've a friend who is a vet in the area who has offered to take them in temporarily until they find a home. These people, I'm not kidding, tried to give them up to various humane societies but they wouldn't take them due to age. That is better than expected, because generally a "kill" shelter will just take them and then immediately euthanize them due to age and lack of "adoptability." Doesn't really matter in terms of kill v no-kill anyway--the cats will likely die even if in a no-kill situation given the time they've spent in a home. I've seen way too many of them "give up" when, at an advanced age, they lose the only home they've ever known.

Your passive-aggressive solution would be ideal for me if I could get hold of them, though I don't think they have any shame or conscience so it likely wouldn't work anyway.

Anyway not looking for cat solutions--I'm all over trying to get that done and will make sure they're safe, come hell or high water. Just looking for ways to make these people pay for their heartlessness. Not in a "destroy" way but in a "they should feel some pain for what they've done" way.

Send Bob to meet them, while wearing the shirt

Wait patiently for their inevitable demise.

It's looking like no need for amputation of my dad's toe, or foot for that matter. The doctor was pleased that blood was getting back to the area after surgery. They are still waiting for the culture /biopsy or whatever to come back to figure out what the hell this infection is. Once they narrow it down he's in line for daily intravenous antibiotics for 60 days. Whatever the infection is, it's pretty aggressive so had they waited until today to do the surgery instead of yesterday, he would have lost at least one toe.

OK, maybe not totally destroy, but I just want these people to feel some consequences from their actions.

Dateline 2001: I'm involved with several no-kill shelters in Chicago. My stepmother has friends whom I know fairly well who are looking for two cats. One of the shelters I'm heavily involved with has a brother-sister pair who, as it turned out, looked EXACTLY like a brother-sister pair they had had before and loved dearly but had died (I now question this part). They desperately want these cats but are in Louisville, KY.

I have a friend who is willing to adopt the cats and give them immediately to these people (since the folks couldn't go to Chicago and adopt them directly), so that's what we do. They love the cats, supposedly.

Dateline 2015: Said couple have decided to give up the cats because they are moving to Canada but will travel back to the US frequently and "the cats don't like change" and "the cats don't travel well." THE CATS ARE 15 ####### YEARS OLD NOW.

They have apparently tried to give the 15-#######-year-old cats to various shelters who won't take them--thank god because any shelter that is not no-kill at that age will euthanize them immediately. They're trying to get a new home for them but--get this--have only until tomorrow to do so (what happens after that I have not asked).

Now, this is not a situation of dire circumstances. These people are both doctors--plenty of money to pay someone to take care of the cats while they travel or what have you. But somehow they have no souls such that the cats are completely expendable. Love the "cat doesn't like change" part in particular--like putting them in a shelter (even if no-kill) wouldn't be a death sentence or a new home wouldn't be a problem.

I ####### hate these people with every ounce of my being. How little heart or soul must you have to not care a whit about a creature you've had for 14 years? By the way, the woman was my dad's oncologist. Wondering if it's OK if I tell her that I figure her lack of concern about life helped hasten my dad's death?

With the age of my parent and my poodles, It'll be a virtual death colony over the next 5-10 years.

What would it be worth to ship the cats here to join in the fun.

Are there any courses I can take to learn to deal with most everything you love dying in a short period?

The Rock Sugar thing was coincidental. I'm mostly a taco and burger kind of LA eater. I don't know anything about Domo but the address and food type because I googled it. Italian in Beverly Hills, probably outstanding. If I was from out of town and wanting a good dining experience in Beverly Hills, I'd consider Craig's. I was there a couple months ago. The film industry vibe is a hoot. It was "the place to be seen" four five years ago and some might curse the recommendation, but it was a good time, great energy, food was great, wine way overpriced. But Domo is probably excellent.

Over at reddit you can vote up or down. Similar to liking here or on FB. but you can also "dislike" or down vote stuff. Imagine what this forum would be like if you could move posts down on the page because they suck.

I was just saying that in this particular subreddit people don't tend to give upvotes. Sort of an ego thing but it is also about just being appreciative of quality posts.

Also of note, at their elementary school there are TONS of hot teachers. Just knock outs. I've yet to see one at the middle school although the principal is pretty decent. Why would this be?

My sister is a weirdo. When my Dad and I were helping her move we found a bunch of "toys" and "books" that were NSFW. There was something that looked like a bear trap, not sure where that even would go. Homer? You know?

I imagine option B would. When I ran my website everything was 50% off, all the time. Would have done B was I'm lazy.
