Hey Chicago, what do you say?

Start making plans for next year today

Go Cubs, Go!
Yeah. I mean, why did they even show up for this series? I'm glad they got rid of the Cardinals (sorry GB Bob), who have gotten quite tiresome to me in recent seasons, but their "performance" against the Mets has been a complete joke.

They're certainly headed in the right direction, but any team that has to throw Jadon Hammel out there, while facing elimination, deserves their fate

Slanted door is awesome. Last time I went, I sat at the bar and let the chef make me what he wanted and drank many a fantastic Riesling. Most excellent

I'm going to Denver tomorrow.

I cornholed with guster, guster gf, ACP, and ACP wife this weekend.

Yesterday I saw an email signature from a newly married woman, and the signature had her new name, "formally known as" her old name.

The other day I got a letter from a lawyer explaining a "scribner's" error. "Scribner" was repeated several times in the letter. Bartleby, the Scribner.
What's all this now?

Hey Truck - just received this via PM

Was directed to you in the Torrents thread -- freshon.tv shutdown and I'm left homeless. That's after TvTorrents shut down and I was left homeless there too.Know of a good replacement?

Thanks.
I truly hope you lop off three of your fingers in a freak kitchen accident.
Welcome to my world.

In all seriousedness: Thorn is good people. His lady, too. And Portland ME is a great town. Actually all of Maine (that I saw) was much cooler than I had previously given it credit for.

Ragrets were had not getting to meet Guster, just wasn't in the cards. Maybe if the dickfaces at Hertz @Logan get their gdmfshhit together next time it will work better. Does anything good come from Boston? No. It doesn't. Don't bother trying to tell me otherwise.

Lots of excitement for the smallest cat in our house as he was running around, tossing something in the air and then chasing after it. Went to see what was going on and found he's playing with a Brussels sprout. Cats are dumb.

:lmao:

Kitty chased the sprout all the way downstairs where we finally relieved him of the toy and threw it away. A couple of hours later we were having dinner and heard a "thump thump thump" and then kitty ran up to me, then a "pffffft, bang" noise and I looked down at my feet. Another big Brussels sprout sitting there. All these years and I've not given my cats a Brussels sprout to play with. I'm a terrible mom.
