GM's Thread About Everything/GM's Thread About Nothing (21 Viewers)

Yo, O. My trip was pretty much hit-and-run. Got in Friday afternoon and left Monday morning. So, most of my trip was eating, drinking, #######, and dodging snowbirds.

Do you know Cape Coral at all? I'm trying to recall the establishments I visited (Friday was bad - I think I had 3 separate drunks that day). Duffy's, Monkey Bar, Tiki Hut at my hotel (holy crap - this place could sit like 300 people under a big palapa) were some of the places I bellied up in. Also did the Moose, VFW, Eagle, Elks tour with my lady friend's dad (cheap-###, but good drinks and food; breakfast was money) I was lost trying to figure out where everything was in relation to the others (well, Tiki Hut and the Monkey Bar were only a block apart).
Make it to Jet Blue Park for a Red Sox game?  Very nice park.

I think you said you went to a Twins game. How was it? I live here and haven't been there yet.

I mean, if somebody walked up and put a gun to my head. Fine. I'm think I'm really in tune with the randomness of life but once it happens...Yikes

A bit drunk and bored.  Might wade into the political threads, including but not limited to the Trump thread.  TPW appreciated.

I don't get the quadrennial angst. We always get the government we deserve. Every. Single. Time.
Triumph of hope over experience, I suppose.

This may be the last President I get to help choose.  I'm not getting any younger, and 8 years from now I may be dead and buried or simply too far gone to care about voting any more. I've been pretty invested in this one.

No, didn't make it to a Sawks game, just the Twins park.

It's really nice and modern. Plenty of concession stands and adequate bathrooms. We had lawn seats out behind left field. If you go, and are sitting on the lawn you cannot bring in chairs (most won't work anyway - that lawn is on a pretty steep incline). Also, no smoking anywhere there. Concessions are expensive for an exhibition game, which surprised me. I think the Bud/Miller class was $7.50. My friend knows one of the ladies who runs concessions so we drank for free (as long as it was draft).

The day we went happened to be "Minnesota Day", and it was sold out due to all of the Minnesotans either living there now or visiting. I think one of the ushers told me they hold 9,300 people, but the place handled that large a crowd pretty well.

Check-out guy at the gas station convenience store in town is my hero.  There was a bit of a line because of someone using a SNAP card (needed manager approval or some such), and the clerk told the guy behind her he'd be with him in just a minute.  That guy said loudly, "Well, I didn't know I was going to be stuck waiting behind a welfare case."  Clerk responded, "It's OK - you don't have to wait.  You can get out of my ####### store right now."

That is friggin awesome.  I hope you will name a cat, car or house after this guy.  Or a boat?  Mmm?

I like cruising the thrift shops and one by my house has 50% off all clothing on Wednesdays.

Today I overheard "Oh my god, Chelsea, this is literally a dollar ninety-nine and half off that's like, seventy-five cents!"

To her credit, Chelsea immediately corrected her.  Don't want to sully Chelsea's fine name.

I know you are the Ginger in the middle. Which one is Chelsea?

Chelsea sounds hot.

"Uggg" is more like it.   They look like blow up dolls filled with used deep fry oil.
Definitely not going to age well, but would make for a fun few months.  I mean, think of what people do to themselves ...so these two just see the other as an extension of themselves.

And they are british - almost guaranteed freaky.

So ...dirty hot sex with twins that look like Vegas hookers that will do stuff only on pay sites.

I'm in.
