When I want a beer I don't want a ####### grapefruit.  When I want a beer I may not usually want a "lady cave" either, but maybe sometime I might, ya know?  Willing to at least entertain the thought.  "People that live in vag houses shouldn't throw.....whatever the genital equivalent of a stone is" etc, etc, etc.

You ever try 10 Barrel's Swill?
Yeah, I think I got one of those in a mixed 12 pack maybe?  I've tried quite a few of the sours and it's just not for me.  Two of my buddies are really into the sours and I've been arm twisted into giving them try after try and I just can't dig it.  Not the best analogy, but I never cared for Sweet Tarts or super sour candy growing up either.  Just hits me wrong.

But, I do really like these two IPAs, which have a slight citrus finish (brewed with citra hops or something?).  Actually, two of my favorite beers at the moment.  Both on tap at the local BWWs and the Candy Peel is $4.95 for a tall during happy hour.  Now THAT's a bargain.

That douches IPA is just the clean version of the vag beer, right?

It is rather addicting....and expensive as hell. Out here those Cascade Sours run 25-30/bottle.
Have you tried anything from Jolly Pumpkin?  If not maybe ill send you a few to try

also just realized I have no sours in stock and don't feel like running to the store

Are you guys drinking this like a beer or sipping it like wine?  I just went the Cascade website - looks like its mostly around 7% - 9%.  And those prices for a typical 750 ml wine bottle size.  Holy ####.

Like a beer. Most of what I drink regularly is 7% on the low side. Sours can't be chugged but they are so damn good. I could drink Almanac all day long everyday, so good.

So a bottle is like 2 12oz beers.  The idea of having 4 beers for $50 still has me spinning though the flavors sound delicious.

Are the carbs about the same as a regular )non-lite) beer?  Like around 12 carbs per 12oz beer?

What's close? What do you want from Chicago?
Ill have to see what's releasing soon that's special. I'll just build up a nice sampler over the next month or so with those included

ill drink whatever.  Doesn't have to be anything super rare, just stuff that isn't distributed here.  Is daisy cutter Chicago?  Or is that hard to get?

It can be an expensive hobby...Hawks is more hardcore than I am though

no idea on the carb content on sours...never really looked into it or concerned myself with it
