Adams was a brilliant man and knew he would be dead before his lie was exposed on the internet.  He did foresee this happening though - "Cyberspace is - or can be - a good, friendly and egalitarian place to meet and discover lies by authors"

 
I heard about a car accident ten years ago.  Guy who works for me said he was late because of a car accident last year and I fired his lying ###.

It's a funny story.  It wasn't funny because it was Douglas Adams.

He's like the guy in good will hunting who hears the don't forget the coffee joke and yells bull####, that didn't happen to you.

But Adams contends it really did happen to him.  He didn't just tell the story in the first person because it works better.

Did it really happen to Adams?  Beats me.  But versions of this same story have been circulating for years.  And some of them predate Adams' version.  Just saying.

This wasn't terrible mainly because all the hot moms think you're super loving/sensitive/great dad blah blah. If you're a single dad of a girl id think this would be a small price to pay to basically have your pick of the desperate housewife crowd. 

Yet here I am, not even getting any from my hot wife for the embarrassment, because she's having none of that what with the 3rd little girl about 12 days from her world debut.

Whether it's true, or not, if one toffee-nosed Brit ate another mincing, sod's packet of biscuits by mistake has turned into some serious business this evening.

 
Starting a new job today, and there are about 100ppl at orientation, one of whom looks very similar to AT&T Lily :wub:  .

Bears win in a landslide.

Both are horrible answers for juicy - gummi bears win as only slightly better answer.
