Looking like a pretty good day here.  Headed to the dragstrip for a test n tune to see what my father-in-law's 1967 Dodge Dart will do.  

After the 2014 season, he tore it done to the frame, put all new floor pan/firewall,  new front suspension and had the motor refreshed with new heads/vlave covers.

His fastest run in the quarter mile on the old setup was 9.92 seconds at avout 134mph.  Engine builder said with new setup, it can get down to around 9.50.

 
Had Chinese food last night as well. Turned out our waiter was from the same city our daughter was born in. Which wouldn't be all that unusual if it weren't for the fact that my daughter was born 8,000 miles away in Tainan, Taiwan. Pretty cool.

 
On a Cub Scout camping trip.  Luckily my son told me his buddys dads list had "beer for when kids go to bed" because I assumed it was not allowed (because of Jesus and diddling I assume)

If there's Jesus and diddling on all those trips, I'd wager beer is typically a staple.

He runs VP Racing fuel C16...116 octane.

Well, sad to say, we only made one pass down the track.  Had white smoke come out when he hit 3rd gear.  Also timing wasn't right.  The smoke indicates a possible internal issue, but won't know until he gets it home and does some diagnosing.  But that's what test n tunes are for.  Especially after a major rebuild.

Let me know if you need any help.  I changed the brakes on my Mazda today.  

 
Some of the members of my inside sales team have decided to challenge a change I made to their comp plan via state labor laws.
