My students are doing this activity where they have to match up actual passages from the Declaration of Independence with modern day "translations".   The passages are numbered while the translations are lettered.  

I was giving instructions last period and I said "If you think #1 matches with B, write it in the B-spot,  If you think it matches with D, write it in the D-spot..."

Yeah, they go up to "G".

Of course none of the kids blinked an eye when I said it.

Just found out a kid diddler moved into a house down the street from us (kind of across the street perpendicular to ours...imagine a T where we're kind of at the midpoint of the bottom and he's at the top left). 

Our kids don't directly play down there but pretty close at another neighbors house so I will say it makes me uneasy.  I'm all for 2nd chances but I think child molesters are pretty much the worst type of people and I'm not convinced thats something you ever overcome.  I guess the offense was over 10 years ago but he was 22 and kid was 12 (wife didn't say boy or girl)

1. Kids are 7, 5 and 3.  They know about Stranger Danger but pretty sure if it came down to it they'd take free candy, ice cream, kittens, etc.  I'll probably just reiterate that if some weird guy tries to touch your #### scream and run away

I just looked up where I grew up... only two in the entire southern part of Marin county. and one of them was a school friend (not close) from growing up  ...rapist, not kids

although I knew a couple guys who got hit up on statutory rape because they were black and dating slightly younger white girls whose parents were basically racist. those guys are going to turn up on this map. same girls dating white kids didn't get those guys thrown in jail.

My beef with these sites is you get just a fraction of the info.  If you want the full boat, you have to jump through hoops, get taken to different websites, CLICK HERE for the full report...I thought we had a right to obtain public information without going through all these cyber wormholes?  Maybe I'm doing it wrong.  Do I need a Kodi Box?

We used to have a site that had it listed and I can't find it but the Crime was detailed.

For instance one guy in our area was 23 and was on their for "sex with a minor".  She was 17 and they were dating. Which is way better than some "random pedo"

 It just had more details that these don't seem to provide
