How many kids?  Does she work?  How long they been together?

Assuming Oregon, it is not impossible to extract one's self from a bad marriage. There might be a court battle, but the state is not as biased towards women as other states.  I've got a very good divorce attorney "your friend" can go talk to if you want that info.

You mean the mechanics of moving out and getting divorced or moving on like how does he start enjoying single life and wonder why he was ever married in the first place?

i know a smoking hot single bartender in Portland your "friend" could talk to.

MLK Day is a holiday at my employer, so I scheduled medical and dental appointments today. On my way to get fitted for a crown now. I don't think I'm doing this right. :oldunsure:

5 kids, wife don't work, guy makes $200k yr they live in a million dollar home and been married 10 yrs. Basic problem is she spends all his money and won't stop, acts like a ##### about it and constantly tells him he's worthless

From a financial standpoint, it sounds like he is very ####ed good.....but I'm not a divorce attorney.

Anyone else serve on a local board.

I can't stand out league president mainly because he's terrible, he's not a bad guy but he takes everything personal.

I'm about to just quit and take my kid somewhere else

 
For some unknown reason I decided to "be healthy" and walk 7 miles on my day off. Terrible decision. Do not recommend. Send help.

apparently we're going to a wedding in the middle of nowhere Iowa this summer

closest city is Sioux Falls, SD. and that's 2 hours away.

Me too. Sucks to be my buddy right now. He's not blameless but I'd take about 70% his side on the stuff.

His biggest problem is he doesn't know how to negotiate with a terrorist. He's too nice, assuming she's being rational when really all she's doing is launching scud missiles to distract him. Then when he can't take anymore he explodes which is mistake #2. 

I feel bad for him and anyone stuck in a similar situation

Worst wedding I ever went to was 90 miles outside of St Louis in Southern Illinois. It was first week of August. Air temp was 106 with dew points in the 80s. We had a newborn who still wasn't sleeping through the night who was with us in the same hotel room. The AC broke in that room at 4am. By 9am it was 82 IN THE ROOM. And the windows wouldn't open. 

I had the bath tub full of beer set up in my BILs room. We went in and laid in it.
