my kid seems fine.  i worry about her though.  she doesn't talk about it much.  

it's not a pleasant visual, he's in a hospital bed in the living room, dying.  sometimes he's somewhat lucid and will wave and smile at her.  but last night was bad.  laying there, mouth agape, occasionally gasping/coughing/grunting.  she's probably spent more time with them  than any other people in the world besides us, so it has to be affecting her.  i wonder if it will different when he finally dies. :(

Client.  This is the first big case to get to the point of possible resolution with my own firm.  My partner hasn't been paid in a year and a half.  This is sort of a big deal.

School is out May 25th and I can't wait.  Mrs. SLB has been working at a new job which means, well the days she works, she has to be there at 6 or 6:30.  That sucks. For her. What sucks more is me getting Cal up at 5:45 to catch the bus at 6:35.  He'll be 13 next week and already in full ##### mode.  When I was his age I had the decency to keep how much of an ####### I was concealed. Plus I was scared my Dad would beat the #### out of me. Then Dylan, who takes care of himself really, has to catch the bus at 8:15.  I'm putting in 3 hours of work before my day even starts!!  MOTHER'S DAY??!!!!  THERE SHOULD BE A FATHER'S DAY!!!!!

Yes, but if you get them up early enough,  you can get almost to 12:30 without one of them daring you to "throw hands" at them.

My kids are in the same boat. They get on the bus at 6:20.
