GM's Thread About Everything/GM's Thread About Nothing (35 Viewers)

Seriously....what kind of person names their dog "Kevin"?  Or "Phillip"?

Used to be a couple at the dog park we frequented in Nevada who had done both. I could never bring myself to take them seriously about anything.
Those are both great names for dogs.

I've hat cats named Larry and Stan.

i've been told that when i speak i have a quiet voice. people apparently have difficulty hearing me.

it's my normal speaking voice. not much i can do. i've been told it's because my voice is "deep". it's no Barry White but no Truman Capote either.

so when someone tells me "i can't hear you" and i speak more loudly ("normally") i'm told that i'm shouting.

and if i'm "shouting" i'm told it comes off as angry/loud/intimidating

I NEED ALL CAPS IN REAL LIFE

me too gb. it's like you're living my life. except for the cardigan and #!#(@$$$5! coworker who I would have on a constant video feed.

convicted of double rape, btw.

the guru of bling. 13 killed in clashes between police and his posse after the verdict.
Just heard about this on the BBC World News this morning (look at me!). The death toll is now 28. There were 150,000 (!!!!!!!) of his followers gathered around the court when the verdict was announced.

I had never heard of this guy before. A little research indicates that he is the head of a "movement" (or cult) that has 60 million (!!!?!?!!!??1) followers, mainly in India.

A couple thoughts from the airport Friday's.  Guy sitting across from me eating cheese sticks with a knife and fork about get his face punched.  Anything worse than two coworkers at a bar talking shop?
Genocide, IMO.

A guy talking loudly into his cell phone at a bar.  Absolutely punch worthy.  Also considered:  Guy listening to video/audio on his phone absent headphones at a bar.  They won't even convict you at trial if you punch.

How about woman having a loud phone call on a bus... on speaker phone

I'm trying to find some middle ground here.  I suggested "Piper" (after Rowdy Roddy Piper - but didn't mention that part).
Wife and I agreed to name all future pets after characters from Wires.  Up first:  Wee-Bey.
