Saw them live filming a pay-per-view reunion concert the night before the official opening of the Woodstock where they burned half the place down (not P-Funk,they tore the roof off the sucker, of course).

Bootsy was there. The mothership came down out of the ceiling. It was awesome. Then the hours of nonstop drinking on the bus  from Cincinnati (won free tickets , bus ride, and a tent from a local radio station) and the instant contact high from the audience kicked in and it got more awesomer.

About a month and a half ago I made a very small change to my resume.  I just added a key word to my title at my previous job since it was a more appropriate title.  Since then, I have had so many interviews that I am optimistic I will have an offer soon after the holidays.  I have had an interview virtually every day for the past 3 weeks, plus a bunch in the 2 weeks before Thanksgiving.  It's been a challenge since Thanksgiving because I have been dealing with the jaw injury that is still bothering me, as well as the concussion, which is mostly better now.  I hope I am not jinxing myself here, but I just got home from an interview where I met with 4 people, and am excited about this opportunity.  I am in the interview process with 7 companies right now and this one is very interesting, and a significant change in culture from my previous company.

Anyway, the moral of the story is that if you are looking for a job, make sure you not only have all of the key words in your bullet points, but also make sure they are prominent.  I literally changed just one word, but since it was strategically placed it's made a big difference in the amount of interviews I have gotten.

My wife's best friend was in that. I know I've seen at least parts of it because of that, but no memory of Clinton live.

 
speaking of dogs...my neighbor's dog that lives in prison, yellow lab, that they never walk, broke out through their gate, for the umpteenth time, and went for a dip in another neighbors backyard.  being the nice guy that i am, i decide to have her come and chill in my backyard until her owners come home.  lo and behold,  animal control promptly shows up. :unsure:    we lay low and the animal control lady goes to some other house, but sits out front for at least 30 minutes.  i think the mail man might have called them.  anyway, i like this dog and want to kick her owners straight in the junk for never, ever, ever walking the dog.  the dog is so freaking happy to be out and laying in the grass.  her backyard is all paved hardscape.  people suck.

 
We thought ours had another mast cell tumor.  They went to aspirate, and it basically just melted away.  Cyst. Thank the baby cheezits.  I'm not sure we'd put her through another round of that, and I have an 11 year old who won't understand that at all.

Been there...honestly, take the dog, put it into a good home if you can. Those people don't have pet "ownership" rights if they're neglectful. They can #### off.

Liberated.  And roughly as well as you’d think.  

Sweet dog but hasn’t had any training and probably has never been in a house before.  My other dog is reacting kind of like my wife would if I brought home a homeless prostitute to live in our house.

I was thinking to myself "man, that's a long time" and then I did the math in my head on my fingers and I've been divorced from my ex for 10 years now.  Course, only one of us was dumb enough to get remarried and it's not the one with symphony conductor hair.

This same exact thing happened at our work. Pigeon was stuck up on 3rd floor roof and people called us (Fire Dept) to help get it out. Guy went up the ladder and got it and said "Fly be Free" and gave it a toss. Needless to say it stuck the landing. A bunch of people around just stood in shock. We were trying to keep straight faces. He came down and grabbed a shovel and threw it in the trash. Is it bad we laughed about it and still do?
