Back over in Kona for the night before heading to Kauai tomorrow.  Staying at a B&B K4 should consider buying.  It’s way up in the hills with views all the way to the ocean.  Mrs O is pretty impressed as am I.

Reason 2,634 why I'm a degenerate: Earlier I texted why GB about whether I should pick up some wine for his Wife 2.0. Autocorrect tried to change 'vino' to 'Binion's'.

She started crying out of the blue. But maybe in response to my wife, her daughter, asking her where she wanted to move enough of the stuff covering all chairs so we could have a place to sit. She hoards stuff she buys at the "dolluh" store and Kohl's. The house is full of discounted junk, still with tags on. Drivers my wife nuts, who then drivers her mom nuts by asking about it. And my head is still pending.

ETA... She also rambles endlessly in repeated loops talking about two or three things total that happened to her during the day but without any room or interest for others to discuss. She also says "oh my lands" a lot.

Mrs. SLB bought Dylan this boss scooter for the Holiday.  Since both of the boys are in the know now figured I would put together last night so I wouldn't have to worry about  that whole  "Christmas Eve try not to kill myself while assembling toys" thing.

There are 4 bolts with Allen head that need to be loosened to start.  No problem.  First three were barely in, the 4th was put in by Hercules himself apparently.  I couldn't get it too loosen by hitting the wrench with a hammer.  Finally stripped it.  So I call my GB, Dylans' GF, that can do anything but he doesn't answer.   That's when I remember that the Internet isn't just for talking on FF boards and masturbating.   Find a solution on the youtubes but I don't have the proper tools. Dumb, pour a glass a wine and watched Scrooged!, my favorite Christmas movie, with the family.

GB texted me while we were watching the movie, he was working and dead tired.  Came over this morning, fixed it, and put the whole thing together.  That's a GREAT gift right there.

 
BTW he said it was ####ed up too, a bolt should never be that tight. I watched him jam a Torx in and smack it with a hammer to get it to turn.  Somebody had a bad day in China I guess.

 
My nephew knocked up his Chinese wife.  Actual Chinese, from China.  Her dad is big shot, has two sisters and a brother if that tells you anything.  Anyway. apparently they change the names of their kids a lot?  My SIL was telling me a story how my nephew's, sister, changed all the names of her kids 3-4 times until she found what was perfect. Something, something, how in China your last name is your first name for so many years?  @McJose figure this  is your territory.

To be fair, she's well meaning- not a mean person. I just know that my wife's boiling point has gotten increasingly shorter with her over the years. Barely made it an hour this time.

And I appreciate the thopras, even though I know this is far from thopras territory.

I literally just spent 20 minutes messing with my drunk SIL with Alexa.  She kept asking for a song and I would play my playlist via Bluetooth.

She's been cursing at this thing the whole time. Once she got her song on I interrupted it every chorus

Merry Christmas!!!!
