I work as a commodities trader and I own an advertising company. Main job is the trading. The advertising is small company only do about 200k annual sales2 jobs? what are they?
And boatloads of white people.Really good for those that enjoy homeless tent cities, naked hippies crapping in the sidewalks and unending smell of weed.
For me, Bend is too far from other major cities (i.e., Portland and Seattle), but you are less likely to die falling into the ocean.Which would be a better place to retire to in OR? Eugene or Bend?
You'd probably like Eugene. They don't have the food of Austin or the music but it's beautiful and what you lose in big city you gain more in natural wonder. That's as an Oregon lifer that has spent a lot of time in Texas.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<cosjobs

Prefer bend due to the climate.Which would be a better place to retire to in OR? Eugene or Bend?
As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock'n'rollYou'd probably like Eugene. They don't have the food of Austin or the music but it's beautiful and what you lose in big city you gain more in natural wonder. That's as an Oregon lifer that has spent a lot of time in Texas.
Eugene is a fun town
I grew up and live near Bend Cos. If you spent time in both Bend and Eugene I would be shocked if you didn’t choose Bend. Liberal enough for you, good restaurants, GREAT beer culture, 300 days of sunshine a year.I want an affordable, walkable downtown with lots of bars, restaurants, a movie theater, and a library
Wife has a lot of family in Portland and I have quite a few friends in Seattle, so moving so far away, it would be good to have that social safety net.I grew up and live near Bend Cos. You can catch trains about 45minutes south of Bend. Unfortunately that isn’t really part of the infratructure in the East side of the mountains.Does bend have trains to Portland and Lake Tahoe?
That and the serial killers in Willamette ValleyEugene’s only real advantage is being 45 minutes from the coast.
is there a downvote option?Eagles fans celebrate their victory NSFW

I'm also thinking that hand of his is gonna look like a bowl full of natto when he pulls it out of there.Eagles fans celebrate their victory NSFW

wtfhm, i'm still delving in to podcasts. checking in on the Wayne Williams Atlanta murders podcast but there are only 2 ep's out now and that doesn't sound like what you wantI've gone a little insane in terms of how much I'm working out, and I'm tearing through podcasts too quickly and need some new ideas. Any suggestions for good stuff to listen to? My favorites are This American Life and then everything else. I like Heavyweight, enjoyed ####-town, like Pod Save America, didn't like Serial, to give you an idea. @mr. furley? I think you know a lot in this realm?
I think there was a podcast thread around here somewhere, but I trust the GMTANners more.
Just looked this up and actually would be interested. Adding it. Why did I think you know a lot about podcasts? Maybe it was mr. fruley.hm, i'm still delving in to podcasts. checking in on the Wayne Williams Atlanta murders podcast but there are only 2 ep's out now and that doesn't sound like what you want

Pod Save the World is by the same guys and is really good.I've gone a little insane in terms of how much I'm working out, and I'm tearing through podcasts too quickly and need some new ideas. The Dollop is pretty fun. 2 comedians do a bi-weekly podcast where one of them picks, a usually somewhat obscure, figure from history with an interesting/crazy story and then unravels that story while the second guy reacts to the insane stuff. Informative and hilarious at the same time.I've gone a little insane in terms of how much I'm working out, and I'm tearing through podcasts too quickly and need some new ideas. hiI dislike overhearing people's music through headphone leakage.
I don't think I'm qualified to answer thatI know nothing about podcasts. My über right wing vegan brother in law is always telling me to listen to this or that. I run the other way. What do "normal" people listen to on podcasts?
Lolz. I typed right wing vegan. I didn't think that was possible. He's über left wing. You still don't qualify.I don't think I'm qualified to answer that
