Agreed. Paying for parking for youth sports is insanity. Not being able to come and go would be a major problem for me. This isn't the Rose Bowl. Come on.....

I take that back. Parking at this particular event is free, but they are charging $20 to get in. I'm hoping that's per family, otherwise I'm gonna lose my sh*t.

Honestly I was totally prepared to pay the $20 for parking and woulda lived with that. But $20/person? Yes, wild.

Yeah, that's why I go with their dry-rubs (Desert Heat, Chipotle, Lemon Pepper all good) with a request to go light on the dusting and then order a crap ton of their sauces to dip my wings in. Game changer. Won't ever go back to wet wings.

I would get to work before anyone else, about 6:30AM, and pull up a couple of articles on the ole computer on fantasy football, the Ducks, or the Lakers depending on time of year. Would print them out and take them into the stall after that first cup of coffee to read, then leave them there for others.

That was 2006. BlackBerry browser was like 2 lines at a time. No iPhone. No iPad.

Our GB SFBay Duck nailed it. I have a bunch of sports writers and stock market pundits I like to read, but rather than read them on the computer, I copy/paste their articles to MSFT word, shrink down the print, reduce the margins and print it out without pictures. I like to actually read stuff on paper. I still read actual books. I have enough screen time - I need my eyes to focus away from screens. Also, I like to take notes when I read and I can't do that on a screen.

Moreover, when I sit down to read something on paper, people generally leave me alone. This gives off a 'don't bother me' vibe and I like that. I'm reading, buzz off.

I recycle everything.

You know, before we get too old and before we lose anymore of our brothers and sisters, I think we should coordinate a massive cornhole where parking doesn't cost $20 and we can get onion loafs with a flag planted on it. A place where raisins atop our salads, where the beers are hoppy or sour but ice cold and wings are hot and aplenty. Perhaps we meet where a game of football is played or maybe we organize our own football game though I think that hurt when I run through you like Derrick Henry running through tissue paper. We can sing bad karaoke and play cornhole, we can disc golf or ball golf or feed ducks. Some many opportunities!
