My brothers kids lost their mom today, just a little over 3 months since he passed

I have avoided vsiting my wife's family for 5 years. I've been reminded of this a time or ten hundred, so I wasn't getting out of this one.

Her family is all tight and close and with airfare for 5 being $4K I wasn't going to just sign up for a long weekend.
