As the Duck game got out of hand and as the Breeder's Cup Classic was nearing post time, I whisked my son from our seats at Autzen and made our way to the huge indoor practice facility where the beer garden does a brisk business, the band plays soulful covers and tv's line the walls for well over 100 yards on one wall. 99% of the TVs were tuned to the Ducks game, but there was a corner of the room where a large group watched the LSU/Bama game in the closing moments. Kellen and I joined their corner, tuned a small TV to their back to the horse race and enjoyed watching watching Bama go down about the same time Zenyatta was nosed out by "Blame". After my trip to LSU earlier in the month, I've been kinda rooting for them. Will be a LOT of fun to meet up in Dallas next year and watch high powered Oregon take on defensive dominant LSU.
