GM's thread about nothing (10 Viewers)

Hey cornhole fans, The Z Machine will be reprising his role in the Bay Area by appearing in SF from Monday, 9/26 through Monday 10/03. Limited tix are available.
What's the gig? Male strip show?
Sure. What's the rate you're offering?
I got nothing. I don't want to see your junk. Are you really performing here or is this just a witty way of saying you want to meet Truck and the SF crew for drinks?

LSUCKS?

Not mine. One that has been popping up on facebook lately. Not sure how I feel about it. May need offdee to chime in.
You wearing a suit or just a dress shirt?
Why would you not wear a jacket to a wedding? If anything, skip the tie, not the jacket.
Maybe it's an outdoor wedding and it's going to be hot. A nice dress shirt and tie is fine for a Summer wedding...unless it's at some high-faluten' country club or something.

EVERYTHING IS FALLING APART.
THE CENTER CANNOT HOLDSorry but I love Keats.
Pretty sure that's from 3rd Eye Blind, guy
"Doo doo doo, Doo doo doo-doo."-Third Eye Blind
No wonder GM's a fan.
Big fan of doo doo, not so much a fan of Third Eye Blind. Probably some of the worst music to come out of the 90s, though the competition was steep. I'm looking right at you, President's of the USA.

:hifive:I think the worst thing I've ever heard in my life, however, was 10,000 Maniacs. I get angry just typing their name.

Dude. Peaches come in a can. They were put there by a man. In a factory downtown. What's not to like?

I'm all for a good insulting politically incorrect roast, and I feel zero for the passing of Ryan Dunn, but that ##### on the Sheen roast last night was pretty out of line bringing up his death in a joke to Steve-O, saying that she wished it was Steve-O who died instead. I thought he might seriously break-down for a second.
:goodposting:
I thought it was funny. Ryan Dunn dug his own grave. Oh well.
I laughed a few times. She's pretty funny. I also give her a solid 6.5, but I like them tan and robust. And her William Shattner jokes were very funny.

I like all three of these bands. Well, I only know that one Third Eye Blind song, but I like it.

Product of the 80's.

I don't know what year they officially started. I'd rather not know. They embody ####tiness that transcends all time and space.

Everclear also had some good songs. GM just digging himself a deeper hole here.
Every single 90s band mentioned is the suck. They're all awful. Throw in the ### #### Goo Goo Dolls too. And I grew up in Buffalo. I thought they sucked when they were a local band, and I thought the world had gone mad when they went national.

OK, I agree with you on the Goo Goo Dolls. They suck. But I could he happy listening to a mix of Everclear, 10,000 Maniacs, Presidents of the USA and that 3rd Eye Blind song.

There's no such thing as a bad Peens joke.Everclear sucks out loud. GM> :hifive:
I see Art Alesakis (sp?) every so often as he lives in Portland and I've seen him at the grocery store and a restaurant. People tend to leave him alone here, probably because he sucked so much.

They started gaining some noteriety in the late 80's with the song "Talk About the Weather". Peter Buck's brother was in the band and I'm right certain the nepotism helped pave the way. Merchant was linked romantically with Michael Stipe for about 10 minutes before the world woke up and realized what a gay man looked like.

Do you ever see Britt Daniel from Spoon?
Spoon is a band I haven't yet dug into yet. I'm still chewing on the Posies and Drive By Truckers. Spoon to follow?
