I would like to know:

Culpepper's progress

Joey's talent/effectiveness

WR2/3 players -> talent, abilities, and who runs with which team

Thank you.

Reflections from 'Phins camp:

The Dolphins practice on two fields - I'll refer to them as near and far. Public seasting is only allowed in stands, hence you can only get a good view of the near field. Unfortunately, the offense worked exclusively on the far field, so I didn't get to see as much as I would have liked to. Any plays being run were always on the far field, and there usually was a group of players blocking visibility.

This practice was in full pads, in the hot south FL sun. I think it may have been the first 3:00 practice, but no two-a-day today.

Obsrevations, in no particular order:

Kevin Carter was really late coming out - he didn't take the field until after warmups were done.
Jason taylor did not dress out.
Only two guys wore the red jerseys today - Booker and Chambers.
Culpepper showed scrambling instinct, but after his scramble, I did see him limping slightly. he didn't report to the trainers and have his knee looked at, he seemed to play through it.
both Culpepper and Harrington were in for bootleg/rollout plays. This is something I haven't seen the dolphins run before. I'm not sure what the fantasy implications are, just an interesting nugget.
Ronnie Brown seemed to dance too much - he would see the hole collapse, and try to make something happen by running east/west. This did not seem effective at all.
Tim Bowens was in on kickoff return, which I thought was weird. Marcus Vick was as well. Wes Welker looked really good returning kicks and punts.
Vick didn't look half bad as a receiver.
Teyo Johnson dropped quite a few passes today.
Sammy Morris and Gerrald Riggs Jr. seemed to rotate in and out of 2nds team offense, with Morris looking better and getting more reps. Minor looked decent as well. Riggs did have his ankle taped mid-way through practice.
Olindo Mare missed a few kicks - he was like 1-5...... from 64 yards out. less than 60 yards, Mare = :moneybag:
WTF is up with grown men trying to get autographs? My 9 year old couldn't get near Culpepper for an autograph because of a crowd of 30+ year old men, mostly trying to get a hat signed. What business does a grown man have trying to get an autograph from another grown man? I mean, come on...I don't think I'll be going back to 'phins camp, unless they move important drills to the near field. I can't say I blame them - if I was Saban, I would want my team practising as far from the lookey-loos as possible. It does, however, make for a pretty poor experience for the fan.
