I had the same problem about two weeks ago. I emailed one of the staff and he seemed to think it was my computer, since others had not complained. It stopped after a couple of days. ?????????
I've had a couple of reports of this issue but I have not found a solution to it as of yet. We've got thousands of subscribers coming in from AOL but it only appears to be happening to a handful of people (less than 10 so far including all the responses in this thread), so my best guess is that it may be an issue with certain versions of the AOL client.
What appears to be happening is that when affected AOL users go to http://footballguys.com, they sometimes receive a "Golf Tips" placeholder site. But when they hit http://www.footballguys.com, they get our site normally. But as the comments in this thread attest, even that is not consistent. The only common thread appears to be that everyone who has reported the issue is browsing our site from the AOL network.
I have contacted AOL Webmaster support but have not heard anything back. I will post any updates here.
In the meantime, if you are running an older version of the AOL client, you may want to download the latest version here:
I have also had this problem. If I click on the home link above it takes me to golf tips. But if I enter it as http://footballguys.com it's fine...if I enter it as www.footballguys.com then I go to golf tips.
