**Green Bay at Detroit** (+3.5)(49.5) (1 Viewer)

It's gotta be a get right game for A Rodgers one would think. I have no investment in any GB packers.

I am invested into Swift and with reports he plays sparingly, only a TD will save him today. Chubb on bye, Pierce in the books @ 13.9 my choice is either Swift or A Gibson for RB #2 slot. Last night I switched out Swift for Gibson. I have them neck and neck, but at least Gibson will see the field in rushing and receiving. Unless I hear anything positive about Swift, he sits.

I can see points in this game as Vegas has it close to 50.

Lions fan - GB 27 - DET 23

Two underperforming teams here(at least I thought higher of Detroit after Hard Knocks). If Mr. Rogers is ever going to "get right" it's today. Coach Detroit may need mental health if he has to endure another presser after another loss. Just a feeling this game will be close all day and on a Sunday when I think there will be a few upsets I'll take...

Lions- 37
Packers-34

Rodgers over the last 15 seasons as a starter (since 2008) is 18-6 vs Detroit, with over 6K yards passing, 52 TDs 8 INT.
  • Won his first 5 and 9 of first 10 vs DET
  • Had won last 5 before last season’s finale*
  • Middle 8 he was 4-4 vs Stafford
*started Week 18 but sat out second half; was losing 13-17 when he departed.

Anyway, he has beaten us like a drum. No reason to think that changes, but the Detroit defense has sucked marginally less the past couple weeks. The improvement has not been nearly enough and is barely discernible, but if Paschal/Hutchinson can generate pressure Detroit could make it competitive.

Offensively Detroit has failed to score in the second half of the last 3 games. Swift will be in a managed snap count, Hock was traded, and in 3 WR sets ARSB will be joined by Kalif Raymond and Tom Kennedy.

Detroit has been hanging around, wish they were full strength on Offense but I am going to go against the grain today

Detroit 27...Green Bay 24

Feels like a trap game and the Packers would normally be favored by 8, their offense has been lousy and the reality of where they are and the fact they likely will miss the Playoffs, some of that has to take the starch out of their willingness to do anything to win.

Trap game, maybe Vegas knows something we don't?

Anxious to see if the Lions try and get TE Mitchell involved in the game plan. Packers defense is statically good against the pass, but that could be because they're so easy to run on. Not much tape in Mitchell, easy to overlook and the Packers safety coverage (Savage) is really weak imo too.

Good call. He has 21 offensive snaps, 6 routes run so far. With the WR corps being ARSB, the KR and 2-3 practice squad call ups, might be a good time to give him a coupe shots. This is his 5th week being active so they should have a good idea what he can do. Between him and Brock Wright, def has more potential to be the move TE.

Doubs injured on first play of game. Needed help getting to the medic table. Looks like right leg/ankle. I think he's done for the day.

And another player on my roster injured yet again. Sorry guys, that was my fault for starting him.

Nice opening drive, Campbell kills any good feelings from that by going for it on 4th down again

You are what your record says you are

Dan's winning percentage is .188

Should be corporate motivational speaker, maybe do full time on the TedTalk circuit

Watson mighty easy to cover when you only use him on screens or long bombs smh.

I know he's no route technician, but can they at least give him a chance to work short to intermediate routes?

And Goff missed a guy in the end zone who didn't have anyone within 10 feet of them. Goff has everything but that winning instinct. He rarely comes up with the big play when needed.

rookie Kerby Joseph in his 5th start today after seeing only special teams snaps the first 3 weeks

forced fumble weeks 7 & 8, now his first interception

not able to watch but is the feed correct that Will Harris was assisted by Hutchinson on the tackle of Lazard's 47 yard pass

I know they wanted to try new things lol

four plays from the 1 for the Packers.
  1. Shotgun handoff to Dillon, no gain.
  2. Fade to Watkins while he ran a slant.
  3. Shotgun handoff to Dillon for a loss of 1. Just brutal.
  4. Interception Aidan Hutchinson
