After just losing Odom, I was reading on the idp waiver gems and they talk big of White from TBB...He is to go full time now after trading Gaines Adams...Is he worth it? He had a big game this week, but who knows if it is a fluke...

any opinions appreciated...I think I'm going to try him out...he's definitely a DL3, but I'll need something for the MIN bye when Allen is out...

DLs are such a crapshoot who knows. I was lucky enough to start him last week because I'm in a deep enough league that I could take a risk at a starting DE and was worried Warren wouldn't play. I think he's as good of an option as you're likely to find on most deeper waivers. Obviously he won't be putting up 8 solos a week, but in the past he has been a pretty good scorer when he plays. And he's a solid pass rusher. Bottom line he doesn't have enough of a resume to hazard much of a guess. But he has solid opportunity and limited solid production.

White should have been starting long ago. He's played very well the past two seasons and could be a real star if given additional playing time.

Worth the risk in a defence that will see a lot of the field and who don't have great depth.

In the few plays I've seen of todays game it seems like he's getting good penetration.

Did anyone see Tampa's game in where White put up a goose egg. Was he injured? Did he play the whole game? Is he going to play next week?

he played. he almost had a sack but the refs called it as not intentional grounding. he's terrible. he holds almost no value, i think. you have to be pretty desperate to consider starting him.

I'd disagree with that. Tampa plays from ahead much more than most expected this season and White is one of their edge pass rushers. He's not an every week must start but he's a solid #3 DL and a good plug and play lineman based on match-ups and injuries.
