Greg Zuerlein (1 Viewer)

Droppable in all formats now. Plays on a team with a poor defense and terrible offense. That's a field position nightmare.
You forgot to add a coach who calls fake field goals, calls long bombs that get intercepted on 3rd and 1, goes for two in a blow out, and goes for it on fourth down a lot.

No way you can drop this guy now with the Jags coming to town next week right?

As good as that match up sounds I'm done with him. Rams are to frustrating to watch. I'm either grabbing dolphins kicker or ghould next week.

####### Fisher may decide to make the whole game a four down possession and go for two the whole game. Between the rams putrid offense and Fisher's decisions, Greg the Leg is a fantasy team killer.

Leg gets one more week next against Jax and then I'm punting. Schedule the following five weeks from there looks brutal.

Glad all the fair weather fans are off the bandwagon. Just the true Legomaniacs left, and we'll ride him to 20 pts next weekend. :hifive:

Pickup Sturgis if he's available in your leagues, fellas. He's the 2013 version of Legatron.

He booms 50+ yarders with ease, he's accurate from all distances and he's on a much more consistent offense. And you get to watch him on Monday night this week. :)
After looking into Sturgis some more, I'm starting to think you're right. He might be the kicker to own this year (among those on the WW at least). He seems to have a strong accurate leg, and Miami can actually move the football. My only hesitation in dropping Leg for him right now is his Week 6 bye.

How about Mason Crosby? What's his story? Does he still suck? Seems like the GB kicker would be owned in more leagues than he is.

Awesome. Then all of his owners might get a win and be 2-3.

Dropping him after Jacksonville game next week for a kicker who had his bye in week 4 or 5 so I don't have to waste another second thinking about a kicker.

That play was the killer...could've had a 50 plus and maintained some offensive momentum. They went flat after that....

This guy is suffering from the horrific team he is on. 4/1/4 the last three weeks can not really productive for fantasy teams.

Can't use him any longer, which sucks, because he has one hell of a leg.

He's one of the few since Rich Karlis that made me not get up to get food/drink when the field goal team came out.

Too bad we don't get to enjoy more both in fantasy and that elusive thing they call real life.

Well said...

Keep in mind - he's either kicking in a dome or in a stadium likely to have decent weather every game moving forward, except for Week 13 @ SF (& @SEA in Week 17 if your season somehow lasts that long). :moneybag:

Will his offense be getting better?

They are the youngest team in the league. So, hopefully...

Stashing him on my deep rostered dynasty squad, but at this point, if the Rams don't get better fast, I will be replacing him with sturgis after his bye on all my redraft teams.

Yeah, I'm with many others. We have short benches and he's gone as soon as waivers pass.

Not seen anyone question him as a player - but I question everything about the Rams right now.

Especially after this last game.

Opportunities are hard to predict so kickers can always be a guessing game.

But I have no doubts about how shatty that team and coaching are right now.

If you watched and just used your eyes this last Monday, it was honestly painful to watch.

No need for stats.

this is easy. he may be the best FG kicker in the history of the NFL, and will probably break the distance record sometime soon. but, the STL O sucks (thanks shotty jr and you too fisch), and he just won't see the opps needed to be FF relevant.

i'm *punting* next week and will live with his alleged 20 next week vs. JAX. based on their body of work thus far, hell JAX may come in and shut them out. dome or not, I can't stomach 2 weeks = 4 pts. good luck to those of you who have the stomach to start him next week.

Cool, that will match what he had the previous 4 weeks.

Keep in mind his team sucks and cant get 20 yards in some quarters, so keep wishing. Good kickers play on bad teams just like good wrs value go down because their QB sucks.

For fantasy purposes, Young GZ sucks.

They were the youngest team in the league last year as well.

Ugh, don't know what to do.

Get off the Z train, and get Blair Walsh, or stay along for the ride.
Why is that a question? Walsh has been more accurate and shown nearly the same leg strength in their young careers. He also has already had his bye and plays on a team that moves the ball much better than St. Louis. Shocked that Walsh would even be available.

He just had a bye and some leagues have short benches. He was dropped in one of my leagues with a 5 man bench, and I was able to pick him up this week.

Dropped him in both of my leagues. Not his fault, he's a great kicker, but crappy Rams offense plus a coach that would rather punt or go for it from the opponent's 35, means very little opportunity.

Hartley

Crosby

Sturgis

Tucker

how would you rank them ros?
I dropped Legatron last night and was faced with a similar list of choices (except Hartley is gone in my league). I went with Crosby...not because I'm chasing his points from last week, but primarily because I know his team can move the ball, his bye week has passed, and he has proven he's over whatever caused his inaccuracy last year.

I'm rolling with Crosby RoS for basically the same reasons as Not Sleeping (over Hartley as well)

I am so ready to be done with Zuerlein, but my league has this stupid 1 transaction per week rule. With byes and all the injuries I have more pressing needs, but with the way Fisher is calling things I just want to drop him for any K that's already had their bye week and just forget about K for the season.

Kickers on elite offenses tend to be frustrating for me because they get too many extra points rather than FGs. It's the kickers on offenses 6-12 that seem to be the best IMO.

Imo crosby is going to benefit from gb being more balanced and running the ball more. This to me equals less throws for rodgers and more stalled drives in fg range. I dropped Greg last week for Crosby and going to use him ros unless I'm wrong.

First week PL (Post-Legatron) went as well as you can hope for. Crosby led all kickers in scoring in my league. The problem with that Rams team is that they just score too many touchdowns (as long as they play Houston every week).

The Z man really blew it last night. That damn kick was right in his wheelhouse, that kick is the reason for his existence on an NFL roster.

It ended up costing his team the win, any remaining season hopes they held, and affected the NFC playoff picture in the process.
