Guru's: Which rb combo is better to have -dynasty- (1 Viewer)

Curious as to what side of this combo offers more value...?

JJ is somewhat injured just like his older brother (thomas)...I like JJ a bit more than TJ cause i like Dallas offense a bit more especially now with TO there....

Benson and MBIII are both unknown at the moment....both showed some flashes although Barber showed a quiet bit more, I also think Barber can be an everydown back while Benson is more of a pounder rb and then would come out for passing downs/3rd downs....

Which side offers more value dynasty wise? All 4 could end up with starting gigs but i doubt it....the dallas side of it is younger....

TJ and Benson

Good defense gives the RB more time on the field

Parcells may not be around to many more years

Julius Jones seems to be a player susceptible to injury. Right, what player isnt? Most, but he definitely is. I see the potential there with him, but the durabilty is a major concern. Barber is solid and could be more a long term back than Jones in Dallas. I like the tandem. But if I had to choose a dynasty situation right now, Id go with Benson and TJones for a couple of reasons. One, the NFC East is a much tougher division and should be for atleast the next 4 or 5 years. The D in that division is becoming nasty. I would rather have a back who's facing the North 6 times a year than the East. Secondly, Lovie Smith is in Chicago to stay. He's not going anywhere, appears a solid HC, and has a play good D and run well philosophy that bodes well for a running game. Parcells looks like he might keel over and croak tomorrow. I wouldnt be surprised to see him coach just one more year in big D. Two at the absolute most, but I see 2 years as more unlikely than one. jmo there. Dallas' O looks to be solid this year with TO in the fold, but both he and Bledsoe are flat out OLD. Long term? Gotta think a run first team with a good defensive minded coach in the windy city and a potential stud in Benson.

But out of the actual question, I'd go with TJ and Benson. Close call though.

Dominick Davis and Reggie Bush.. haha had to say it

I will take Julias Barber over Jones Benson.

Bears aint ever had a passing attack!

TJ and Benson. Better talent IMO Barber is the weakest of the bunch and JJ is too injury prone even if he may be the best when at full strength. I also like the Chicago OL a little better

Wouldn't that be an argument for TJ and Benson being better than JJ and Barber?BTW, I'm not partial to either. Well actually, I guess I should say I'm partial to both. I had TJ and Benson and MB3 on my roster and last night I traded for JJ. So I gots all these guys.....

I would go for Jones and Benson. I think that Thomas Jones has shown the ability to be a top flight fantasy back while with the bears. I would say that for hte 2006 season he is the most valuable of these four players. I would also speculate that the Jones/Benson combo is more likely to provide you with two starting running backs for the 2007 season. I don't see a likely scenerio where Julius Jones and Marion Barber III are both starting for someone in 2007. That makes it an easy choice for me.
