:stinkbait:Swims away.I'll play devil's advocate. Why is this worse than hunting deer with a rifle?
I see an Illinois plate on the truck. He also has deer icons on the side for confirmed kills like a fighter pilot. That has to be illegal, like hunting out of season.the domain is registered to a dude a little north of St Louis. His name and addy/phone is there.
Go north from St Louis about 15 miles, and you're in Illinois. ( I didn't realize that until looking at a map.)I see an Illinois plate on the truck.the domain is registered to a dude a little north of St Louis. His name and addy/phone is there.
The deer have to be pretty overpopulated in that area for him to have 300 kills - not a lot of people in Southern Illinois so there's probably tons of them there. I live right by a wildlife preserve where there's tons of these things and I doubt I could rack up 300 kills if I tried. This is pretty weird. I do know that in certain areas of the country the deer are way over populated and cause major problems. That said hitting them with your truck seems pretty "redneck."

You know you're a "hugger" when....You know you're a redneck when...
Because I'm not enthralled by some dude ramming deer for no reason I'm automatically a hippie?Come on man. I just enjoy quality venison (sp?) and what this guy is doing likely ruins the meat. You know you're a "hugger" when....You know you're a redneck when...![]()

I'm pretty sure the meat is ruined and he isn't harvesting the meat, regardless.Because I'm not enthralled by some dude ramming deer for no reason I'm automatically a hippie?Come on man. I'm not a tree hugger and I'm not against hunting. Grew up and still live in Western PA where the first day of buck season is treated like a national holiday. But this is just weird and inhumane, IMO.
I bet they felt amazed.I'm not a tree hugger and I'm not against hunting. Grew up and still live in Western PA where the first day of buck season is treated like a national holiday. But this is just weird and inhumane, IMO.I doubt the deer that were hit felt anything though
I don't see that, curious what exact area he's in. I often drive north from STL, going around Alton Ill., up to west of Springfield area, often taking country roads. Very wary of the deer from early fall thru December, anytime near dusk on thru the night. Tons of deer, plenty of near misses, but yet to hit one.He is correct about the crosses/motorcycle fatalities, etc. Last fall I believe there were 3 "deer-related" fatalities in 1 week within 20 miles of Alton.the domain is registered to a dude a little north of St Louis. His name and addy/phone is there.
I for one welcome our new cotton-tailed, jay-walking overlords.I don't see that, curious what exact area he's in. When I was done burning the coal oil light, there was a dependable daily driver built like a Sherman tank. Ready for anything nature threw at me. It is a nice feeling to hit a deer at 55 mph and drive home with little to no damage. Some people will look down on this truck and me like a villain. Just take a second and think about it like this... Lets just say one of the roughly 300 deer I’ve hit, one or more could have come through somebody's windshield and take a innocent person's life... not to mention all the crosses I drive by everyday on the way to work. Several motorcyclists have been killed by -- you guessed it -- "deer." Don’t get me wrong, I’m not out for a Governor’s Life Saver award. But it does give you something to think about.Let’s just do a low vehicle estimate of the damage I have fincialy taken off of the insurance companies. Take 200 deer hits at $2500.00 a piece that’s roughly a half a million dollars. Insurance companies should buy a truck for guys like me and pay people to drive them up and down the road. I hope you purchase a video and see for yourself the carnage that can take place hitting deer. This video is not for everyone, but it is for you.
It doesn't ruin anything, but breaking the bone presents a major infection hazzard when cleaning it.Because I'm not enthralled by some dude ramming deer for no reason I'm automatically a hippie?Come on man. I'll bet the deer don't agree with that.culdeus said:Deer are vastly overpopulated from STL all the way to the great lakes.
I was going to guess the Taliban, but I'm sensing that he was going a different direction.Dolphins????newteech said:People who enjoy killing animals for fun typically progress to killing the highest order of animals.

Lucky for us they don't get a vote.I'll bet the deer don't agree with that.culdeus said:Deer are vastly overpopulated from STL all the way to the great lakes.

The guy is the OP's story? Yeah, I don't know how he's profiting. The linked videos wouldn't open so I took the OP at his word. I just checked out Deer's Gone Wild (ridiculous) and it looks like this dude is just a sick ####, and is not doing it for profit. The guy in the above link is just a sick #### period.Exactly how is this guy profiting? What that guy is doing is not cool at all. Is it worse to roadkill a deer for profit or roadkill a deer for this?
People who watch CMT will.he's selling DVDs. doubt many people are buying.Exactly how is this guy profiting? What that guy is doing is not cool at all. Is it worse to roadkill a deer for profit or roadkill a deer for this?
