Guys you are giving up on (1 Viewer)

he'll be on my bench until I can find a trade partner: (I have him in all 3 leagues I'm in)

Chris Perry

Shows decent vision, but boy he's lost a ton of his explosiveness. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dede Dorsey (the most explosive option on the team)getting a shot at some point.

LJ. God he looks bad. I hate to say it but he might be done.

I won't drop him of course, but he will ride the pine indefinitely.

My league has tight roster limits so two of these guys I wouldn't have dropped were it not for my league rules. But here's my list:

ALREADY GIVEN UP ON

Maurice Morris

Mike Nugent

GIVING UP ON THIS WEEK

Joey Galloway

Zach Miller

CLOSE TO GIVING UP ON

David Garrard

Note to Braylon Edwards: You've been out-run, out-produced and out-played in every way by a rookie on my bench. No longer. Eddie Royal IN, Braylon OUT.

LJ. God he looks bad. I hate to say it but he might be done. I won't drop him of course, but he will ride the pine indefinitely.
The guy looks like the new version of Troy Hambrick -- Runs into lineman and drops. The more he runs his mouth, he's starting to sound like him too.

Chester Taylor. Not an ADP owner, but was the best player on the board when he was picked. He has shown nothing in limited touches.

Another vote for Javon Walker

Bulger - The Rams are bad!!!!..SJax may be appearing on this list soon!!!

Any Baltimore RB as a RBBC with 3 guys just doesn't help your fantasy team much.

Jamal Lewis, just traded him for Randy Moss is one league and J Stewart will be playing ahead of him in another from now on

I can't believe I took him over Reggie Bush in a PPR Dynasty, but I am finally giving up on:

Laurence Maroney

As a starting option in any format.

Thankfully cut Zack Miller for John Carlson last week.

Half the battle is knowing when to quit.

Gaffney....no points in two straight weeks and he was on the field for 94% of their plays in the first game...?

Ricky...although I will keep him for some reason

Almost there on Mendenhall, I don't own FWP.
Don't know what you expected from Mendenhall this year, but FWP was gonna be the rushing leader last year if he didn't break a leg. Mendenhall is at least 2 years out to being the starter IMO.

and they said the rb field was deeper than ever this year. I'm tempted to give up on Chester Taylor because he isnt getting touches, but I'll probably trade him to the ADP owner first

ALREADY GIVEN UP ON
Everyone on Cincinnati. Everyone except Wayne and Addai on the Colts and the latter has been looking really ugly.Larry JohnsonRoy Williams also looks like CJ is just going to take over.

I fell on my sword and paid $8 for him to keep him away from the ADP owner in our league cause nobody else was willing to do it. I thought he'd at least earn his keep on my bench with 5 - 10 carries per game. I'm gonna trade him to the ADP owner for a twinkie.

LJ is very close. One more week like week 2 and I won't just bench him, I'll cut him.

Berrian - the Vikes passing game has to come around sometime, doesn't it? I liked the targets he got in the 1st game, didn't look at week 2 yet. Couple of more weeks.

I'm assuming people are taking 'giving up' in different ways. To me, it would mean cutting someone. There are quite a few names listed here that I would be all over if they appeared on the WW.

Guys I'm about ready to cut depending on what's available:

Ginn

S. Rice

Mendenhall

I didn't expect him to be ROY. Just thought he would be making more of an impact than he has, sort of like what Felix Jones is doing in Dallas.

Without knowing the specifics of your league, that seems reactionary. I can't imagine a scenario where I couldn't find at least a bench spot for him in any of my leagues, and I've got some with short rosters.

Selvin.. I was going to drop Hall but then thought what's the point.. what exactly is Selvin's upside?

3 headed attack, with likely a 4th to come.. he is 3rd on the depth chart in goal line touches (2 TD's in his career), so the only hope is he rips a long one in a pass heavy offense.

I'd try to trade him for a Deangelo Williams/selvin Young first.Coming from someone who busted with Lamont Jordan in 06 and Rudi in 07. There will always be some value in a guy like LJ even though he isn't playable.

In my dynasty leagues

Marvin Harrison-Wont cut him(too expensive) but he looks done.

Ben Watson-Want to cut him Im really close but I will wait until one of my IR guys comes back.

IDP

Darryl Tapp- Expected big things out of him but then Lawrence Jackson happened
