H.R.5433 - To require the disclosure of foreign business interests of senior Government officials and their spouses and family members, to require the (1 Viewer)

lol

nobody believes Bill and Hillary were clean. The Clinton Foundation was the bought and paid for clearly - and most political candidates sell their souls and have decades of promises to keep when they make office

Trump is not a politician, he's not bound that way

IF Trump produces his taxes and he's clean, then what? move on to something else to try and "get him" on right ?
If he makes ana addition error the democrats will lose their mind.  It's a horrible concept, but that's the democratic party.

But in all seriousness.  Is this constitutional?  Can the legislature make up qualifications to be president that arent in the constitution?

Of course. Which explains H.R.7369 currently in committee which requires all candidates for president be white humans, preferably from an Ivy League school or successful entertainment property and in possession of at least one testicle.

I haven't really read anything on it, but it seems like a great question to me.  The Constitution seems pretty clear on what the requirements are, I'm not sure you can just add some

Not sure this would fly federally, but I can see it easily being required by states to be on their ballots.  Every state has all kinds of requirements...this would just be another one.

So Hillary still qualifies.

I would say there is 0.1% chance Trump gets charged for any wrongdoing as far as taxes

That's why the IRS hasn't charged him with anything over the last ... well, all his life. He might donate very little, he might use tax shelters that only the rich (with their massive tax teams) can find and use. Illegal?  Please  -that makes very little sense.
