Hack's Industrial, Techno & 90's Electronica Favorites - Friday Night Dance Party (1 Viewer)

Skipping ahead to present day, here’s one of the DJ / styles I love.  Dark bangin techo.  She’s got quite a few good sets... this one in particular stands out especially once you get to about 35 to 40 min in.   Oh...and she’s hot.

Not sure why did this but

1) I opened a second window on youtube to Hamster Dance

2) I turned the volume down on her video and watched her jam

Oddly satisfying

And yes I've got issues

Thursday night bump. Whole set is fantastic, but when Morgan King's I'm Free kicks in on the link....yeah

Still listen to old DJ mixes and the build up to this one on Sasha's San Francisco GU release is amazing. One of the best crafted DJ mix journeys and the song that starts right around the timestamped link is a definite banger of a choon that nails the set's climax.

Still enjoy DJ Shadow's Endtroducing.  Link  Classic from the second it dropped.

As a big fan of LCD Soundsystem I listened to a handful of the remixes that popped up from the label with James Murphy.  My favorite compilation release was the DFA Remixes - Chapters 1 & 2.  The YouTube compilation is spotty but some of them can he found Here.  The Le Tigre remix holds up to this day with vocals that will stick with you.  "Edit!"  I prefer the original Jon Spencer Blues Explosion song than the mix but everything else is so, so good.

Techno / Industrial?

I don't even know what genre this classifies as ... but I love it:

deadmau5 Avaritia

Long 1 min intro ... really good with headphones / earbuds ... I especially like the way it builds. This guy is amazing.

... skip to 1:00 to get past the intro if your just sampling

Stay tuned...might be going live on Twitch this Friday night.  Definitely will be doing another drop of songs soon.
