I'm in the same boat. Can't decide. If D Thomas had a big game on Thursday then I'd feel more comfortable just throwing in Nicks.Have both. Starting Williams. Can't risk him limping offSame here. I just benched Williams for Nicks, since I think Hakeem has a better shot at a massive game. But I might chicken out and put Williams back in. He seems safer.Leaning toward risking it with Hakeem, but I'm sure I'll waffle back and forth 100 times between he and Mike Williams before 1 o'clock.
Understandable, but it's not like Williams has been the pillar of consistency of late either.Tampa Mike had one huge drive last week, in a game where he got the most targets he's received all season. His three weeks prior were the definition of "meh." Hence my waffling.Mike is certainly safer. No argument there.Have both. Starting Williams. Can't risk him limping off
That`s why we play...life isn`t insane enoughhave the same decision as a few here: Nicks or Crabtree? To make things worse, I have Welker in from the NE Questionables. So two Qs (3 with Hernandez..yay!) and Crabtree sitting on the bench because I'm simply stumped at whether to play him, and if so for who? this game is so much fun!!
I have to agree with you on this for this happened the last time.Dammit, I know exactly what's going to happen. Nicks will play and his knee will limit him as it did in other games he played with swelling, essentially making him a decoy for Cruz and Hixon/Barden. Dammit.
This is my reasoning as well. That being said, he does have as good of a matchup as it comes and he has shown that he can play well through injuries.I have to agree with you on this for this happened the last time.Dammit, I know exactly what's going to happen. or not. Crabtree has a nice 7 for 85 line right now though in the 2nd quarter. and we all knew it would happen, yet we all played Nicks over Crab. This is my reasoning as well. He`s playing...two other catches nullified by penaltiesI'm not watching the game. I see he has one catch. Is he playing? What's the deal?
Hes playing. Running with a little hitch though Imo.I'm not watching the game. I see he has one catch. Is he playing? What's the deal?
Hakeem Nicks (knee, probable) says he "feels good" and is "ready to play" on Sunday against the Falcons.Nicks didn't practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday and Friday, but he says he and Eli Manning are on the same page. Nicks will likely be a limited practice participant for the remainder of the season after head coach Tom Coughlin said the receiver would go back on the one-practice-per-week schedule. Rotoworld ranks Nicks as the No. 19 receiver for Week 15, and we wouldn't hesitate to start him versus Atlanta.Source: ESPN New York Dec 15 - 3:34 PMhttp://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5136/hakeem-nicks
He had 3 targets. But outside of week 2, has he really played all season?Did he even play today?
He did jack all season except for 1 game. I needed 50 yards from him tin the bye and he gets 43. Good thing I dominated the 3 playoff games even though he averaged about 4 points a week. Give me a warrior like Boldin over this clown anytime as a WR3This guy cost me the championship today. He reminds me of Owens. Does well during the season but is either hurt or useless in the playoffs.
