Hall of Fame Finalists (1 Viewer)

A group of 15 modern-era players and contributors were named finalists for the 2011 Pro Football Hall of Fame class, joining a pair of senior nominees on the ballot. The Hall's selection committee will vote on this year's class on Feb. 5, 2011 in Dallas, one day prior to the Super Bowl.

Is that list in a random order? pretty weird seeing the top 2 guys were on the LA teams when they relocated

In no particular order - Dawson, Faulk, Sanders, Sabol, Sharpe, and Hanburger.

I'm thinking along the same lines as you, but I'll replace Hanburger with Richard Dent.
You can''t swap Hanburger with Dent. Only 5 players can get inducted and 1 senior nominee.
Actually, both senior nominees can go in, along with up to 5 non-senior finalists. Agree it isn't possible to switch Hanburger for Dent.

These are locks.

Almost the same:
My immediate reaction to this list of finalists without giving it more thought is that I think the non-senior choices should be Faulk, Sanders, Sharpe, Carter, and Dawson.
You're coming around on Dirt, I like it! Agreed with your list. Although I could see Curtis Martin replacing either Sharpe or Carter.

:loco:I've always felt Dawson is a HOFer, I just don't necessarily think he is the best center of all time.

Ed Sabol he added a ton to the NFL with his creation.

Neon Deion effected every game he was in.

D. Dawson one of the best during his time.

M Faulk top 3 all around back in my book in the history of NFL

I can't decide between Dent and Ed Sabol. Dent was a sensational pass rusher, but Sabol was just so stout at the point of attack, and such a great tackler.

Seriously, how do you have voters decide between players and non-players? There should be different categories.
