Hanley Ramirez (1 Viewer)

What do they get in return?

Loria is going to want some names to go with his new name, logo, and shiny stadium.

I think the Marlins farm system, now that the Stanton/Morrison crowd has graduated, is fairly lean. No idea if they'll trade him, but they could use an influx of prospects and trading Hanley'd be a good way to do that.

I'm a Marlins fan and there is no-way the Marlins trade Hanley Ramirez. They are changing their name to Miami Marlins for the 2012 season with New logo, colors, ect. They are going to make a big splash in the FA period and Johnson,Stanton,Ramirez will help the franchise sell ticket packages for the new Staduim.

orange and teal!!!

Look, I'm rarely wrong about these kinds of things. He'll be shopped and traded for the right price. They're lean on the farm and need to re-up on prospects. They're not going to be ableto pay these kids. Learn from the Rays. You wait too long and you topple what you spent all that time putting together. Hanley goes.

You're right obviously about doing like the Rays...but the Rays haven't had to build excitement for a new stadium...and they haven't traded a player of Hanley's caliber. I can't imagine Loria trading him for prospects or lesser-known pros...like the Rays have with Delmon Young, Garza, Kazmir, etc.Hanley being Dominican makes it even less likely.
