I saw it live on TV from Ramstein Air Base Germany. Back then there was only one American Forces Network channel so the chance of that game being on was small. It was a night game so this fight occurred at 3 or 4 in the morning, and I was up in my dorm room watching. I was working 4 and 2 12 hour shifts at the time, do I must have been off.  Really strange that I saw this, and it really was one of the most fantastic things I've ever seen in sports.
