I'm not sure you can believe anything they say in regards to Harvin.Recently, Childress not only lied about players going to visit Favre to talk him into returning, but directed his personnel to do the same.http://www.gatorsports.com/article/2010082...ed-to-migraines"Sugarman, who along with team doctors tended to Harvin and also called 911, is confident the Vikings know why Harvin collapsed and how to prevent it from happening again. Issues that led to Harvin being unresponsive might have included an adverse reaction to medication, dehydration and blood pressure that went too low."What was it for?The recent hospitalization was not due entirely to migraines; I guess that word hasn't trickled out to the mainstream fantasy world.
Now when I was looking for information on Harvin hospitalized, I stumbled upon this story from last year:“Chilly can’t even tell the truth about that,” the player said. “I mean, how ridiculous is that? What’s the big deal that he has to lie? Worse, he has to tell other guys to lie for him?”
Now knowing what we know about Harvin's condition and Childress playing fast and loose with the truth, does anybody believe that this incident last year was for dehydration? Now it appears they are trying the same story again but adding the vague "adverse reaction to medication" to the list.I for one don't buy it.Vikes' Harvin treated for dehydration
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Minnesota Vikings rookie receiver Percy Harvin has been released from an Atlanta hospital after being treated for extreme dehydration and a virus, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune's Web site.
Coach Brad Childress told reporters on Friday that Harvin fell ill Thursday morning while changing planes in Atlanta en route to the Vikings' rookie minicamp.
He vomited multiple times in the airport, according to Childress, and was attended to by paramedics.
The Star Tribune reported that Harvin continue his recovery at his home in Gainesville, Fla.
Childress said Harvin tested negative for swine flu and attributed the illness to the pre-draft grind of team visits and workouts.
"It's an unfortunate circumstance, but it is what it is," Childress said.
