Rotoworld:
New coach Todd Bowles said at the Combine that the Jets are still "evaluating" Percy Harvin's spot on the roster.
New GM Mike Maccagnan "hinted" the Jets may ask Harvin to redo his deal. In an ideal world, the Jets would bring back Harvin at a salary lower than his currently-owed $10.5 million. The Jets need to be collecting weapons, not cutting them.

It's remarkable that a team with no other offensive weapons and a huge amount of cap space even considers cutting a talent like Harvin instead of designing schemes to get him the ball.
That's just it.... Jets don't just let him go without having a backup plan....
I go back and forth but, the 4th round pick they have to give up makes me lean against paying him 10 million if he doesn't restructure. Just saw Bloom tweet that Harvin may have to settle for a show-me 1 year 3 mill deal on the market!!!!!!! Huh???
You pay a guy 10 mill plus a 4th rounder who commands 3 mill / 1 yr on the market? Granted that seems low.
On 1 hand the Jets have the money and the need - on the other hand, do you ever see yourself locking up decent money long term to him? So, it's questionable wether this is a rental or a guy you are building something around.
I'd spend that 10 mill plus a decent amount more on one of these top FA WR's.... Jets also will have an opportunity to pick one of the top Wr's in the draft plus decent WR value will be at the top of round 2.
Yes, the Jets need a top weapon in front of Amaro, Decker, Kerely - But, 10 mill + 4th round??
