Has a first year major sports franchise owner ever won the championship? (1 Viewer)

Jimmy McAleer, former player and manager, bought the controlling interest of the Boston Red Sox before the 1912 season and won the world series that year.

I'm sure there are many others, just the first I found.

July 1995: COMSAT Entertainment Group bought the Quebec Nordiques from Marcel Aubut, moved them to Colorado to become the Avalanche, and won the Stanley Cup in 1996.

Wouldn’t the owner of any team that won the first championship for any major sport qualify as a correct answer? For example- the owner of the first championship team in the wnba, or in the MLS (US soccer league)..etc

Anybody know the answer?
Cleveland Browns won all four of the AAFC championships from 1946 to 1949 and joined the NFL in 1950.
The NFL commissioner wanted to show the upstart Cleveland team a rough time by having them play the NFL champion Philidelphia Eagles in the first game. The Browns won the game. QB Otto Graham threw for 287 yards so the Eagle owner disparaged Paul Brown and his team by dismissing them as a 'basketball team that only knew how to pass'.
The Browns played the Eagles in the playoffs and Paul Brown remembered what was said and ran EVERY PLAY. Not one pass.
The Browns won the game and went onto win the NFL championship in their very first year in the league.
