Has there ever been a worse PTPer than Tony Romo? (1 Viewer)

Alex Barron maybe?
Really, can't blame Romo for that. He was pretty good driving the team down the field and then that stupid hold killed them
What about the two balls he threw from the 40 on 2nd and 3rd down that were dropped by the defense? What about the rest of the game? QBs job is to win, Romo has trouble with that concept wouldn't you agree?
 >60% completion percentage tonight. Best career winning % of any quarterback in the NFC. Dallas is going 9-7 this year and missing the playoffs because the offensive line is going to be an absolute disaster all year. The blame shouldn't be on Romo.

Stupid to bump this thread tonight.
Why? Another primetime loss, doesn't matter if he played well or not. If you lose with the team that is supposed to go to the Super Bowl this year and score seven points doing it, you are part of the problem. QB gets all the glory and all the blame, it is part of the game. For me getting to hear hours upon hours of Cowboy fan panic this week will be enjoyable.

What is his winning percentage in December and in the playoffs?

Nice job of changing the question.

I have no dog in this fight, but can you cite a source on that one?

Fanhouse. The Cowboys aren't a real Super Bowl contender this year. It's because they've taken a step backward talentwise up front from an offensive line that was overrated last year. Not because of Romo.

Here is the thread title:

I assumed my post would be received as it relates to the thread. :)

You forgot about the last play to end the half
That'd be Choice.
How about before Choice even got the ball? What's the point of pitching the ball there right before half?
Gotta put that on Wade and/or Jason.

Why not? No one was near Choice when Romo pitched it.

Cowboys need a new direction at QB.
While I certainly agree with your statement; I'm not sure that much difference would be evident even if we got a time machine and put a young Staubach under center. The Cowboys have organizational problems that I'm not sure any player(s) can overcome.

Jerry Jones is way too patient. The Cowboys season is over (making the playoffs is not going to happen) so why not try a new direction? I don't think anyone on the Cowboys is happy from ownership to jockstrap washer and a change is needed ASAP. Maybe Romo getting hurt is a blessing in disquise?
