Hasbro and the entire Potato Head family never enjoyed so much free publicity.  I didn't even know they still made them.

so the little minority that complain get their way - now I can agree with that

but here's something too ... leaving Aunt Jemima there or the Land o Lake native American or leaving the brand Mr Potato Head or not censoring Dr Suess 

none of that hurt their sales either

You’re probably right. 
 

But the companies way of thinking is that they don’t want to offend anybody, even a small portion of their possible customer base. These decisions are being made by private companies, not by the government. 
 

IMO it’s no different than changing the formula to appeal to more people. Capitalism at its finest....

do you think more people are offended at cancel culture than people who really truly ARE offended ?
