A little better than a coin flip most years, but still worth it if you have chronic medical problems or vulnerable people around you.

What kind of remedies do you use for the flu?

If it’s real flu (caused by influenza virus), meds like Tamiflu will shorten the duration of symptoms a day or so, but you need to initiate it within 72 hours of symptoms’ onset.

Just finishing up a round on my end.  It sucks.  Lots of rest and liquids. I have yet to find a fool-proof remedy.

I've got the worst flu I've ever had. Started Sunday night with a series of sneezes that led into non stop runny nose and sinus pressure. Continued to feel worse throughout the day on Monday. Monday night was a nightmare. I had extreme migraines, fever, chills, disorientation, blurred vision, brutal. Didn't get any better yesterday so went to urgent care. I got an IV with some liquid ibuprofen and 900mg of Tylenol. I tested neg twice for at home swab tests. They did some swabs yesterday and should get the results back today. Barely able to function today.

It's a bad one this year. My son had it and he usually shrugs off illnesses pretty easily, but this was as sick as I'd ever seen him.

My son had Flu A over Christmas, just tested positive for Flu B yesterday. Flu B has totally wiped him out. Never seen him like this. Like most 13 year olds he typically shrugs it off. Sounds like he has your symptoms @urbanhack he is pitiful for 48 hours now.

I had Flu A with him over Christmas. We got the Xoofluza pill that seemed to work. I was out for about 24 hours, but bounced back pretty quick.

I didn't know you could get the Flu twice in 30 days or so.
