Heading to Lambeau Field this weekend... (1 Viewer)

Very pumped up to head to Lambeau Field to see my beloved (and albeit a bit overrated) Pats to face the Packers this weekend with some buddies.

Looking for some insight from some Green Bay homers as to where we should go for some good eats, good sports bars, etc.

We'll be staying in Appleton (Paper District?).

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

Not sure where you are staying, but if you are near the stadium you really can't go wrong. "The Bar" or "Anduzzies" (spelling on that one), are both good places on the far side of the stadium.

Make sure you hit up Curly's in the stadium. . .even if its just for some curds and to see how fast you can hit the holes (you will figure it out when you are there). . . .but for a better game day atmosphere, just hang in the parking lot.

After the game you are better off waiting it out becuase traffic does not move. . .so grab another beer and wash away your sorrows of loosing a 3rd straight game. . .when was the last time that happened for the pats? But it's happening this weekend.

Lastly, if you can manage to stick around to the next evening, several players have their own shows. Donald Drivers show is at "The Bar" by the stadium, and he normaly has a pretty good guest with him, and your chances of getting an autograph are better than some other locations.

Nick Barnett has his own club. . .Club 56. . .clever huh (yeah), but I wasnt that impressed.

Other than that. . . .OH. . .what was the name of the place that still has Vince Lombardi's desk. . . . damn. . .im spacing it. . . .

Anyway. . .have fun. . .should be a good game.
