Help on Online drafting (1 Viewer)

Hey folks,

We have a draft of 14 coming up, and a few people will be out of country, but will have web access. Do you know of any sites that we can do most of the pick from a single location (one login) while a few others can log in remote? It just needs to capture and share draft picks, we'll cut and paste them to our league software later.

The key is that I don't want to have everybody have to login, as most of us will be together live. Also, don't want a time limit on our picks. We enforce in more creative ways than a clock and an autopick.

Tried ESPN, CBS, Yahoo!, XPert, etc. but can't seem to figure out a simple way to do this.

Appreciate any thoughts you might have?

Simple, but tough to follow unless you can share a spreadsheet during such a chat (14 teams, 16 rounds). Excuse my ignorance, but is this possible? Easy?

MFL handles the scenario you described. In one of my locals last year, we had 11 teams at "draft central" with the 12th owner drafting remotely. I entered all the picks for the 11 teams, and just hit refresh a few times when the remote guy was on the clock ... worked just fine, and shouldn't be any harder with multiple remote owners. In fact, this year my same local will likely only have 8 or 9 teams in one locale, with the remainder drafting remotely.

We do draft like this every year on cbs sportsline. Some people draft online while the majority are at my house at a live draft party. I log in as the commish. which gives me the power to make selections for any team. I sit at the computer, When someone at our live party makes there selection I select it online for them, when it is someones pick that is not at the live party they simply make their selection themselves and it shows up on my screen and I yell out the selection to all those at the party.

I'm sure you're not going to want to pay the $129 for cbs sportsline if you're not going to use it to manage your league but I would imagine many of the free ones would allow you to do it the same way. I think on most sites the commissoner has the power of override on the draft board.

Good Luck
