High School and NIL (1 Viewer)

A friend of mine recently took a CEO position of a company that facilitates athletes getting NIL deals. As a high school coach, it got me wondering since a few states have already approved NIL for High School, it's just a matter of time before my state does as well.

Anyone have any experience in this realm? I'm not sure how it would even work. All I know about other states is just that the athletes can't use the school name or logo in anything that pertains to the NIL deal. I don't want to get blindsided when this eventually happens.

No experience but have dived into learning just a bit. I find it humorous that NIL is allowed in Illinois but no athletic scholarships are allowed for private schools.

In Illinois, they restrict the NIL in some says. It seems to essentially disconnecting the NIL from the school. No school logos or facilities can be used, etc.
