Damn, Got me beat. i am only 110 milesSince everyone else is bragging about distance, I live 1,452 miles from my highschool and no plans to ever go to a reunion.
Ohhh since this is a thing, I got you beat!Since everyone else is bragging about distance, I live 1,452 miles from my highschool and no plans to ever go to a reunion.
Similar to me - my graduating class was only slightly smaller at around 900. Unfortunately allowed me to blend in largely unnoticed and was a very painful experience, so no interest in attending any kind of reunion and having those memories. Also being 3000 miles away, there was no draw.I would think I might if I went to a small town high school where a lot of people knew each other even before starting. I went to Brooklyn Tech with a graduating class of 1200 kids. I knew only 3 other kids to start freshman year. While I enjoyed the school, I didn't even go to the prom and never went to any reunions.
That's a huge number. I thought my 620 class was big. Where was this? How did you even find your way around?I had over 1,500 people in my graduating class - I obviously did not know a large percentage of them, and have no interest in "catching up" with strangers.

Mind yo business.Just went to my 40 year CR. What a sad state. The single people acted like they were still in HS. I graduated in a class of 700+ so the turnout wasn't very big considering. Also sad how people let themselves go physically. I did reconnect with a classmate that enjoys running and we are gonna do a 5K next month together.
Prolly won't do any more.
LOL @the name change.1985 Lancaster High Redskins, now Sentinels.

ETA: Honestly I'm strongly considering committing to the 20th college reunion as motivation to drop 20-30 pounds between now and then so I don't look like the bold.
This was our yearbook, reminds me of Chief Wahoo. We've grown so much as a society, lol.LOL @the name change.1985 Lancaster High Redskins, now Sentinels.
1975 Lancaster High Red Devils
Our main rival were the Blue Devils
Both still the same
College buddy went there. He doesn't recall knowing a Mr. Octopus. I assume you weren't a doctor at that time. That's a huge number. I thought my 620 class was big. Where was this? Sachem High School on Long Island.
The campus was the size of a small college campus with 9-10th grade in one building and 11-12th grade in another building on other side of the campus with all the sports fields in between.

Bronx Science here, also a large graduating class. I did go to my 20 and 25 year, but none since. Mostly the city kids went, who I was friends with, but it was still pretty clique-y.I would think I might if I went to a small town high school where a lot of people knew each other even before starting. I went to Brooklyn Tech with a graduating class of 1200 kids. I knew only 3 other kids to start freshman year. While I enjoyed the school, I didn't even go to the prom and never went to any reunions.
Talk about living in a bubble. Boy.Nope. I live half way across the country, but even so, I talk/see the people I want to from my class. There is a reason I don't talk to most
I get the joke, but I hardly live in a bubble considering I moved half way across the country when I would guess 90% of my graduating class still live within 20 miles of the town they grew up in (probably close to half still live in the town)Talk about living in a bubble.
