Hilariously unfortunate teams (1 Viewer)

Just want to see how bad it can get.

A guy in my league drafted AP, Ryan Mathews, and Ray Rice. Before the season started he traded away Alfred Morris for a package that included RG3. His other QB is Romo.

What are the teams in your leagues that are wallowing in despair?

There is a guy in one of my leagues that drafted ADP,Rice,Tate,TRich, Knowshon as his RBs... ooof

I had a $$$ team that started Moreno, Charles & A.J. Green (with Ingram on the bench) over the weekend. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Auction league. One owner spent $100 (or 50% of auction budget) on RG3, Charles, AJ Green. Obviously some of those players coming back and soon compared to ADP, Rice, etc. but that must have been a tough 15 minutes this past weekend.

One league I drafted AP, A Green, RGIII (as a 2nd QB), R Bush, V Jackson, J Cameron, and T Richardson. RIP that team after 2 weeks.

At least I can focus on my other leagues.

Defending champ in my TD heavy standard league has...

QB - T. Romo

WR - A. Brown

WR - A. Johnson

WR - K. Allen

RB - A. Peterson

RB - E. Lacy

TE - Z. Ertz

K - M. Crosby

Def - Seattle

Bench - Ingram, Asiata, Richardson, Crowell, Gordon and Hunter.

Yikes. Needless to say after the draft we didnt hear the end of how great his RBs were and I was laughed at for drafting Bell. This is why we play the season.

Friend drafted Charles, Ellington, Jeffery, Djax, RG3, V Davis, and Ingram. 5 of them went down last week, and he left Watkins on the bench.

Not sure if this is as horribly bad but in one of my leagues I have been hurt by the following injured players:

RB-Andre Ellington (been playing but not 100%), Mark Ingram, Ryan Matthews

WR-AJ Green, Alshon Jeffrey (playing but not himself)

This has really left me scrambling at both RB and WR.

Dynasty team, 22 man rosters. I've lost

Charles

AJG

Mathews

Martin (?)

Ingram

Reed

Beckham

We have 4 IR spots, so that helps. But I have a lot of deadweight that I can't cut.

Spent >50% of my auction budget on Peterson, Charles, and Moreno, then punted the RB position to try to make up ground elsewhere.

Good times.

I feel bad for these teams.

Last year I was in the same boat. dynasty league. Before the year I thought I was a lock for the playoffs and a title contender

Brady - performed bad

Martin - performed bad ended up on ir after 6 games

Spiller - high ankle sprain was never the same

Wilson - fumbled first game, hurt his neck when he got another chance put on IR

Sproles - missed a couple games and wasn't really the rb2 I had hoped

Bowe - we thought he would be a high end wr2 and he sucked

Cobb - started out great. got hurt after like 5 games and didn't come back until week 17

Julio - was the number 1 receiver when he went down

Wayne - went down and was putting up solid numbers, to add insult to injury if that pass is thrown on target he catches it and goes a long way and I win my game

Amendola - monster week 1 and was never the same after injury

Finished 5 = 8

Despair is spread around evenly it seems. I have been untouched by it however in dynasty and redraft.

Drafted Jamaal Charles, AJ Green, Ryan Mathews, Eric Decker, Ben Tate, Jordan Cameron, and Cam Newton. Also drafted Vincent Jackson who has been lackluster to say the least, and had RG3 on the bench last week. I felt real good after the draft, but am in fantasy hell right now.

Champion of my league last year is sitting at 0-2 now which is pretty funny. He over rated his own draft, imo, and has now been stung by bad luck....

Foles ( should be fine but the first half of week 1 killed the owner in a tight game )

Forte ( should be fine but dud out of nowhere week 2 helped to destroy week 2 )

Gerhart ( banged up and useless so far )

AJ Green ( injured )

TY Hilton ( was a bad draft pick considering who was left on board )

Zac Stacy ( not looking good )

Vernon Davis ( ankle injured )

Nugent ( missed a ton of field goals this week )

Broncos

Bench

Miller ( injured and in walking boot )

In our staff league, I drafted Peterson, Rice, and RGIII. It's a TE-premium league, so I made sure to lock up Jordan Cameron early, too. Luckily it's only a 14-teamer, so I have plenty of depth to cover.

Here is a cool story Writers of Brohan,

12 team PPR, 0-2

1.Charles :hangover:

2.Antonio Brown

3.Reggie Bush

4.Pierre Thomas

5. Jordan Cameron :hangover:

6. Mike Wallace

7. Tony Romo :hot:

8. Kendall Wright

9. Trent Richardson :bag: :wall:

10. Rueben Randle

11. Danny Woodhead

12. Greg Jennings

13. Tannenhill

14. Matt Bryant

15. Cleveland/streaming D

I thought I had a great draft and got value for all of my picks (Except reaching for Bush thinking he would be a PPR Monster)

after two weeks I've already dropped 4 guys off the Roster:

Dropped Woodhead to pick up Ridley after he was dropped

Lucked out that someone dropped Knile Davis, let Richardson go for that one(I seriously need to trust my do not draft list)

said goodbye to Tannenhill when the Gordon news broke, now I have a blank on my Roster when I need performers now

picked up Donnell letting Randle go, after Cameron went down

I Dropped CLE for GB last week so the streaming D didn't work out for me then

Last week my RB 1&2 combined for 7.7 points. Even in the week that Romo does look ok, Dallas miraculously discovers Defense & Running the football.

Signed,

The Guy who's Fake Football team you could give a :toilet: about

Also, on a two-time defending champion team in dynasty, I opted to trade Le'Veon Bell away before the season because I felt pretty comfortable with my 3-deep RB corps of Charles, Peterson, and Rice. Add an 0-2 start and the degree of difficulty on the threepeat is rapidly increasing.

I would offer myself as "that team". Keep in mind that this is a 53 man roster with 11 IDP starters each week. My injuries and suspensions so far this offseason and season are:

QB:

Carson Palmer <-- not actually on my team but I own Michael Floyd so I am counting it.

RB:

David Wilson - retired

Charles Simms - IR

Lamar Miller dinged up with Moreno out

Eddie Lacy has another concussion

WR:

Josh Gordon - gone till week 12

Marvin Jones - gone till week 5

O'Dell Beckham - still hasn't practiced

Kenny Britt - <--bought the change of scenery hype

TE:

Colt Lyerla - IR

Jordan Cameron - left early and sat with an AC joint

DL:

Adrian Clayborn - IR

LB:

Sean Lee - IR

Kiko Alonso - short term IR

Derrick Johnson - IR

Daryl Washington - suspended

Zack Brown - IR

I have Julio Jones and I just KNOW he won't finish the season now.

And did I add that I started Vereen as my RB2 last week?

I lost AJ Green, Decker, Mathews, Ingram, Hurns and Doug Martin so far this year. I'm scrambling to try to field a competitive team this week. :(

My highest buyin league I have Mathews, Cameron, RG3, Marqise Lee, Marshall (sat last week), Vereen, Brady. 10 total players on injury report. Talk about dumpster fire.

In my big money league, I drafted AJ Green, Gerhart, Rice, Pierce (who I dropped hours before the Ray Rice video broke), Romo and RG3.

I own Pitta and J.Stewart too.

You start the season with Jordan Cameron and Dennis Pitta thinking you are set at TE in a 12 team league. Now I'm scrambling for a Week 4 waiver wire TE.

Yeah, good times.

Big money league I was feeling good with RG3, Jordan Reed, ADP, Charles, Victor Cruz, Wes Welker. I traded my Matt Ryan for RG3 and Robert woods before kickoff. I was thinking the small dip wouldn't be that big right? :kicksrock:
