No, I think assumptions are used in cases where enough facts are not available. It's not a desirable eventuality. Most leaders would prefer to operate on clear knowledge of facts in most cases. I'd like to think most people would too, but that's something I've been reconsidering in light of recent political discourse.

Anyway, in the issue of whether a 69 year old woman (who's not exactly physically imposing) beat 2 staff members, I'm going to need more evidence than has been proffered to think that may have happened. I'm sure she was pretty upset, highly likely she said some pretty mean things to people - but beating staff members? I'm very, very skeptical.

Does she have a disease.  I figured it was just a bunch of right-wing media making something out of nothing.  My intent was more making fun of them.  If I thought she had a serious condition, I would not have made that comment.
