Post News Here...

Any Steeler homers have any insight as to whether Hines practiced today? I know he was held out of Wednesday and yesterday's practices.

Any info appreciated...

Hines Ward (questionable, knee) missed at least a portion of practice again Friday, and will likely be a game-time decision in Week 12.

Ward has done individual drills and it'd be a surprise to see him inactive on Sunday. There's a chance he could be used as a decoy to occupy Chris McAlister's attention, allowing Santonio Holmes to run free against the rest of Baltimore's othwerwise weak secondary, but that's speculation. Make sure to check back Sunday for Ward's official status.
linktoo early for a pinned thread on Ward?

Yes. Jerry Porter's status and importance is much more relevant

Steelers :: WR

WR H. Ward Practices, Feels Better

Gene Collier, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - [Full Article]

WR Hines Ward caught a short red-zone flip from QB Ben Roethlisberger and ran it in for a touchdown near the end of practice yesterday, his first serious work of the week. He didn't participate in the entire practice and the Steelers continue to list him as questionable, but he was at least moderately encouraged. "I pushed it, but I didn't push it to 100 percent," Ward said.

Naturally, I'm not starting him. Probably have a big week.

Any firm words on him being "limited" either in ability or expectations on playing time? Might sneak him back in the lineup.

I'm starting Ward over Muhammed, but it is a tough decision. Especially since it is for my high stakes league championship.

Both have tough matchups.

That's the same coin I'm flipping. But seriously, this kind of post really doesn't help the discussion.

IIRC, last year Hines was 'limited' in a game... he played mostly red zone downs.. Probably a good chance that is how they will use him today as well..
