Austin's stadium is open air. Totally different situation, imho. The forecast doesn't look too bad to me 30% chance of rain an 12 mph winds... TWC forecast for SAI'm not saying the game will be in San Antonio. I'm just saying that it makes sense to me that they would consider it as an option.SA is not an option they will consider. Austin is pretty far inland as well and they just rescheduled the Texas vs Arkansas game to Sept. 27th.SA will get some weather, but it's far enough inland that it won't be anything like what Houston sees. Winds should diminish a lot as it moves inland. There isn't any threat of storm surge. It's a domed stadium. San Antonio won't have to evacuate anyone. Now, all the hotels and such may be used up by people evacuating to SA. I would think the Texans would lobby for something closer to home so they wouldn't have to give up the home field advantage entirely. I'm not sure how much say they have in the process, though.Ike's going through San Antonio too.San Antonio has a dome and hosted some Saints games after Katrina. That would make more sense to me than Atlanta if the facility is available.
