Too busy eating crow and drinking FEMA ice water, I'll wagerI want to know if Lobary is going to pony up for Broadway Joes FBG subscription..I wouldn't invest too much in what you're hearing on TV considering CNN's inaccurate "BREAKING NEWS: FLEE OR FACE CERTAIN DEATH" banner.I ll wager mext year's FBG subsciption that it is not played Monday if you are that confidentI think you mean Reliant Energy.Hmm, I wonder if Reliant Energy will be able to restore power to Reliant Stadium in time for a nationally televised game a whole 48 hours after the storm has passed? I'm thinking yes.Per the Weather Channel, Houstan area power(Energy... something I think) says as many as 1,000,000 could be without power. That's assuming we have power to host the game. If we get winds in the 75-100 mph range then we may not have power for a LONG time. I understand Alicia was also a powerful storm, but that come over 20 years ago. There are a lot more people in the city now..which means more development and more stuff to fly around and cause damage "assuming we only get heavy winds".I really hope you are right though....I'm here in Houston and believe me the storm should be in and out of Houston by Saturday evening. Galveston should get hit pretty hard(nothing new) but Houston should be ok. Worst case 70-80 mph winds. 5-10" of rain. Game should be good to play Saturday.
