Tate has broken ribs...can he play with that?

I think he has more chances than Foster, I mean playing with broken ribs is "just" a matter of pain tolerance.

While you can't say the same thing for a hamstring injury.

Ben Tate (ribs) was limited in practice Wednesday.
Tate has four cracked ribs. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle believes Tate will be able to play Sunday night. The Texans can wrap his torso up and apply extra padding to the area. It's fair to wonder how effective Tate will be, though. Arian Foster (hamstring) did not participate in Wednesday's practice. Oct 30 - 2:25 PM

While you can't say the same thing for a hamstring injury.

That's a pretty high pain level to tolerate.

He may not carry a full load.
